  • Nice tone sounds sweet

  • Wow! Absolutely outstanding! Thanks.

  • great job man!

please check my out my version too

I'm only 16 but hope to keep this music alive!

  • Wonderful! Well played is an understatement.

  • Seen lots o' Little Martha covers...yours is still the best!

  • Sweet!

  • sounds great ! are we hearing more of your guitar or the table top ? haha, both sound good.

  • Dennis,

I love to watch you play. Your technique is smooth as velvet, so relaxed and easy looking.... you always inspire.

  • What's the difference between a parlor and a standard guitar? Is it true everything is an octave up?

  • @jkshoujk

No, it's tuned like any other standard guitar but has a shorter scale. The scale is the length measured from nut to saddle. The shorter it is, the less tension. Mediums on a parlor=WOW!

  • I could watch all your videos all day man!!!! good stuff!!!!!

  • Very nicely done, big thumbs up.

  • Sounds like you have the right riffs, but it's too fast and your timing it off in places.

  • I have been playing the Wolf Marshall solo arrangement of this for 20 years and never once made it sound as beautiful as this.

  • You nailed it, bro !!

  • you got some good sound in that kitchen!

  • wow, sweet picking, and what a great big sound from that little Larivee! And nice rich dark color too!

  • Thanks. I don't own this guitar anymore but I do hve an all mahogany 00 Larrivee that should be here in few weeks...

  • Loved it!

    Sweeeeeet guitar too...

    You've got a new subscriber.

    Best regards

    Staffan

  • Your playing is really great! And the guitar is really nice too. I am thinking about getting a P05-MT. What do you think of it?

  • I've never played the P-05MT...played a P-05 with a spruce top a few times though...I say buy it! Larrivee parlors are some of the nicest out there today. Cheers

  • Yeah, I'm a regular contributor on the Larrivee forum. I love Larrivee, great guitars.

  • why does the playing of this piece on this paticular guitar sound so authenticly correct ? this is the best version of this song ihave ever heard i should know i am 54 years old and have known this song since i was17 years old

  • Denis: Well, I finally 'nailed' it .. using lesson and all I finally pretty much mastered Little Martha .. never thought I could do it and I keep your video on hand so I can duplicate the strokes. After watching many renditions of Little Martha I find yours to be the 'truest' to the original .. so thanks again. Oh! Picked up a L-10 to go along with my Larrivee D-05

  • This is the song that made me want to play the guitar. I have been playing a Wolf Marshal arrangement for many years and never made ti sound like yours.

  • long live the skydog

  • Which model # is the guitar?

  • I think you need more magnets on the frig.

  • dude, INCREDIBLE tone!

  • Is this the same Little Martha that you did a couple years ago? For some reason I believe this a different one. Both are masterful, but this new one is particularly articulate and precise. Very well done! Thanks for posting.

  • This is the one and only video of Little Martha that I've done....

  • Wow, thanks for that. Bravo!

  • This is far and away the most popular video I've done so far. Thanks for all the nice comments.

  • Awesome version of that song ! you are a ripping good guitar player ...Great job !

  • Like all good guitarists, you have large hands, long fingers. Wish somebody had cautioned me that small hands are a detriment to playing before I fell in love with the guitar and the sounds it "can" make.

  • False

  • double false!

  • It was great! I could never play like that:)

  • Extremely nice! nice right hand technique. thanks, you made me smile.

  • I went to rate this 5 stars, but when I clicked on it, it only came up three... ???

5 Stars was the intent! Sorry!

    Excellent !!

  • that, my friend, was beautifully done. there's something so cozy about those tiny guitboxes - and this one's got a great ring to it (and this is coming from a guy who wouldn't even consider an all-hogger...)

  • Nice tone, nice touch. You inspired me to learn this tune for the first time after hearing the original a zillion times in the last 30 years. Thanks - !

  • That was sweet! Thank you.

  • beautiful guitar.

  • I love Larrivee parlors!

    Nice playing too!

  • Very, very nice.

  • Yeah!!

  • sweet.

  • what a great sound from such a small guitar! Didn't know Mahogany sounds so warm, sweet and clear .. a little like Brazilian/Cedar

  • Pardon, What model Larrivee is that? Do you know of any for sale?

  • It's a Larrivee all mahogany parlor, an older satin finish model which the no longer make. They do still make the occasional gloss version though. Search for a P-05MT...

  • i love these larrivee parlors, theyre a little deeper than most parlors. tahts why they sound soooo good

  • Nailed it!! thanks!

  • Hey your little guitar sounds great! Best Little Martha on Utube! True to the original and a bit more.

  • That little guitar really belts out notes!

  • ummm...

    no.

  • Actually, it's a satin finish Larrivee all mahogany parlor which I sadly no longer own. Still my Larrivee 00-50 is way more guitar, it's the best I've ever owned.

  • You're great - as is this guitar. Love my Larrivée D-05E. That guy makes one hell of a guitar, if I do say so myself.

Awesome touch you've got,..keep em' comin',..TR, Hurricane Alley(FL)

  • Thanks for posting that tune. Beautifully played. I`ve been contemplating buying a Larrivee Parlor. Considering I`m listening to mono sound through cheap computer speakers, that guitar has a beautiful sound. `Course your wonderful playing doesn`t hurt!

  • Like the way you slide down the neck on the decends. Nice!

  • flawless!, just like the original

    great job

  • Could someone search here for this guitar Stonebridge Model 00MS-33-SR - and tell me what song this is.Thanks in advance

  • Excellent!

  • Very nice - you make it look easy! Just bought a Larrivee OMV-60, looking forward to breaking it in.

Is this in an alternate tuning?

  • On Eat a Peach, it`s tuned down just a bit from open E. I play it tund down to open D on my parlor but on the L-03, I would try open D, capo 2
