hello!!!! i have a litle question....on the first part of the vid 0:39 to 0:50...is thata kind of oil pipe???? how its works exactly? what kind of oil did you use, i can note that the chain have no grease....? thanks!!!!....and by the way nice vid and exc bike!!!!

@JUANJO23RA hey , its a hawkeoiler , auto chain oil system , little oil tank under the seat , button on the handlebar , press the button and it pumps oil to chain,,,the oil is the thickest you could get , the thicker the better but it actually is a pretty messy system ,only useful for long distance rides.. if you want clear chain , buy dupont teflon spray lubricant..its great and very very clean!

Please advise how to whleelie with dl650, what speed and how the coupling, I tried it and it does not pick up

@Kysinac accelerate to around 4500-5500 RPM on 1st gear and use your clutch with lots of gas..once it picks up you could change to second gear in the air.

mine had +1 counter sprocket and i was still able to do this , it should be easier with original gearing.

I just got my very own '09 DL650 V-Strom here in Florida. It's my first motorcycle ever; I am LOVING it!! In my first week, in between working, I put on 500+ miles just around town. Yesterday I got my 600 mile service done. In a few days, I'll get my side cases delivered and installed. It's hard to imagine a motorcycle being a better ride than this one. Forget "cruisers" and their ridiculous balance and posture (who wants their feet way forward?!). Dual-sport is the way!

it is a very comfortable bike,,if you want more you can always get a corbin seat for extra comfort...

no its "HawkeOiler" automatic chain oiler system,,the motor is under the seat,,pumps oil to chain when you push the button up front..

lol, Windsor in Essex, it's funny to read it that way (in the UK they're opposite sides of London). Great bike, I sat on it at the shop today, I'm considering buying it, does it handle well in the traffic jams (I have 100km of paris rush hours to do everyday)

it handles great if you are tall enough to put your full foot down..if you can only tiptoe than it gets heavy as you spend time in traffic...overall great bike
