i bought one off the infomercial it was $50 more than at JC Penny :( but it really works, the food is great, i did not lose any weight though. i gained 5 lbs my wife cooks more cause she likes using it. Sad but true

Ive gone thru two domes it breaks for no reason. I didnt put it in the dishwasher I dont even have one and ive never dropped any of the 2 dome even once it just cracks for no reason.

I'm glad I finally found the original. I have had a Flavor Wave for 8 years but it's not the one they advertise now. Now it's a stupid halogen lamp and fan. it's noisy, emanates a lot of heat , bright light, and there's NOT an infrared cooking element to be found. As far as the Dome goes , maybe the extended size is the problem. I have the normal size and it's never cracked in 8 years. So does anybody know what the deal is? Sounds like Hearthware sold the name Falvor Wave but not the technology.

We bought NUWAVE OVEN a few monts ago, its good in cooking everything , BUT the quality of the DOME( the transparent thing that covers the food) is VERY BAD,in span of 2 months , it cracked 4 times, i am very careful with my stuff , i dont know why ,the quality of the certain part is so lousy.The dome is free for 1 yr, as warranty , but they charge me $8.00+ for shipping

You really need to contact the company again. My boys aren't that careful and we've never had a problem. As stupid as their infomercials are, I LOVE my Nu Wave! Have you had any problem with the new cover?

its because you shoudlnt put the dome in the dishwasher it wears it down
