You are right. Unfortunately, there is a typo in our video. It is indeed the Wild Beast. But if you run the Beast on 5S you will get the same performance.
We use the "Team Associated" chassis protector. It is commonly used in the rc car industry to protect the chassis' for racing. It works great! Hobby People carries this stuff.
Dude -- Thanks man.. BTW: I met Shayne in Toledo.. Awesome demo on the Storm70. I will be picking one up this week. HOw long is that coupon valid for.
I'm sorry. Youtube doesn't allow a pasted link. We are trying to carry it on our website. But in the meantime contact Team Associated or you can reach Shayne Benton from Hoffman Magnetics at 818*717*5095 ext. 224. He would be more than happy to help you.
We usually buy it at our local Hobby People. We are having our purchasing agent trying to find it. As soon as we do it will be posted here. Sorry for the delay. Thanks again for the support.
Thank you for watching our video. I hope you enjoyed watching it as much as we enjoyed flying it!
The motor in that Spear was the Hoffman Magnetics 70mm Wild Beast. We were flying it on a 4s Thunderpower 3300mah V2 Lipo. It has a Schubler fan in it, a Castle Creations 125amp esc, and it was very fast. If you are interested in purchasing that motor, you can reach Shayne Benton from Hoffman Magnetics at 818*717*5095 ext. 224. He would be more than happy to help you.
hold on a sec, the description says the beast, and your comment says wild beast?

I saw the motors this weekend in Toledo and they are very impressive especially the new one the "Storm".
Question: How does the bottom of the spear handle landing on the asphalt/concrete.
