I sailed out of Immingham for Gothenburg it was a force 9 midway across the north sea I was in my cabin reading a book when one of the crew banged on my door. he called me down to the hold where a 44 ton crane was moving about right next to my truck, I explained the crane was nothing to do with me, but the effing Daf XF it was about to destroy was I asked them what they were going to do they said go back upstairs have a beer and see what the damage was tomorrow in port.
