So to leave out this very important aspect about VYDC is to leave out the important linakage and efforts of a community center that helped elevate Sotheara's spirits and will in his growth and development.

This is a crucial point that was left out by the Producers and Directors of this documentary. At VYDC, Sotheara met wonderful staff, agents that are dedicated to changing lives one person at a time; this support and care that Sotheara yearned for was given to him. He was introduced to Year Up by one of the staff members at VYDC. Sotheara continues to receive love, moral, emotional support from VYDC.
