This is a wonderful video! I really liked the original, but in this version, is this the same lead singer? The original was of pooer recording quality, but I think the lead singer on the original (with 1/2 the full chior behind her) sounded better! The new version had moments when the lead singer's voice was washed out by the volume of the chior. That's a shame because this song truly exemplifies a beautiful female voice! Still, this is a wonderful video. I wish I hadn't seen the original!

As much as I enjoy the vocals (esp. of the soloist) in the previous version, I LOVE the onstage chemistry between the quartet and the soloist in this version. It's like they're encouraging her - "you can do it!!" (and 2:47 just cracks me up - "do do!") At the beginning she seems a little nervous (understandably!), but gets more comfortable as the song gets underway. :)

I can't quit watching this video. As I said before, awesome job by everyone. Some songs need light music accompaniment. One reason I like this PJ version best is that the music is live instead of canned. In my opinion, that alone makes this song have more heart.
