Honestly one of my favorite open world RPG's. There were many problems like the leveling system, but mods can fix most of the problems.

I played oblivion to death without mod or anything and I didn't have any problems except some few crashes to my desktop. as long as you save the game‏ ‏there won't be a problem.

@TheXyster I think you misunderstood... and besides, after 5 years of playing this game I'm quite aware of that. ;)

I was talking about game concepts such as levelling systems, AI behaviour, levelled loot lists, etc, etc, the list goes on endlessly. There's little wonder that mods like 'unofficial oblivion patch' and 'OOO' are some of the most popular mods ever... and I expect to see similar ones for Skyrim should there be anything wrong with the game.

The one good thing about Skyrim is that I'm not worried how many bugs/messed up game concepts are added... I can confidently buy it on release day. The Elder Scrolls modding community can fix nearly anything as we've seen with Oblivion.
