Ike Hall was my husband's uncle. You will never know how wonderful and touching it was to find this video on you tube. Another thank you from a two tour vet starting out of camp evans in 68. beautiful song, i knew who the statesmen were in general, i did not know one of them died in vietnam. now my son is i afghanistan as a medevac pilot with the 101st.

I am sad to report that the man playing piano in this video Everett "Grandpa" Reece lost his 2 year battle with cancer on Tuesday Dec. 2 2008. now he is completely healed and singing and playing at the fathers side. God Bless you and we will miss you Grandpa and see you soon.
I used to go to the concerts in Memphis at the Ellis Auditorium in the ate 50's and early 60's. The Blackwoods would dominate the venue with the Blackwood Boys, the Blackwood Junior Quartet and the Memphians to be followed by the Blackwood Brothers....!!!
