if you like this style of music you should give a chance The ataris, they're awesome and in their songs are beautiful, try for example songs So long astoria, Looking back on today, My reply, Unnopened letter to the world, Radio 2.... can't write them all =). Really good is also this song, search: Neutral milk hotel - Holland 1945. This is one of the deepest songs I've ever heard. trust me, try it =)

The chord progression is almost identical (albeit sped up drastically) to the My Bloody Valentine song Sometimes. I don't want to call this song a "rip-off" because it does it's own thing to a degree, but when a chord progression has as many bars as this song does (as does "Sometimes"), it raises some questions.

@CityOfDaughters I think there's one change that you're hearing that sounds identical, but really it's not just the tempo of the song -- TL is playing far more notes per bar, and he's up and down the scale significantly more.
