I was a Tiger mercanary probably 5th row back from the front line. I totally loved this experience and everytime I watch a video, I relive those moments of charging at the cops and fighting them.
@iquoteron As far as I'm aware, filming went relatively smoothly. By the second day of shooting I had bruises all over my arms but that comes with the territory when you do large scale clashes like this.
@shinbooks You were an extra? So was I (Tiger). Were you on the front lines of the thugs/mercs or cops/swat? I was a thug, not quite on the front line, but about 2 rows back (still close considering how many of us there were). I can actually see myself in this clip haha.
Doing this movie was the best work experience I ever had.
@derrickdlr for some of us, yes. Most of us were given guidelines and blocked it ourselves. The casting call for the extras was specifically looking for PD, SWAT, Military, Martial Artists who could come in and do it. Super cool to be there. And @shinbooks, I am still tired. It was a blast though!
HOLY SHIT. Nolan deserves Best Picture right now even if the movie isn't out yet. He's going all out! Other directors need to be like him, keep with the classic techniques like using TONS OF FRIKIN PEOPLE! Instead of CGI'ing it all like most are.
awesome

Chris Nolan likes realism...he actually had cops shot to make this scene more authentic

Cops or thugs? Haha did they have to teach you how to choreograph the fight first? Or was the whole fight improvised?
