what the fuck did that have to do with the song? You just picked a good song and put your pictures to it, it didn't make much sense, at least not to me.
this song is about not fitting in. and about h.p. lovecraft but it is not directly about him
h.p. lovecraft lived in brooklyn for awhile and during that time he faced alot of hardships and problems. he hated brooklyn life. the song is using h.p. lovecraft as a reference to not fitting in. it fits perfect an amazing song that uses one of the greatest minds ever as a reference.
yeah you've got it for the most part, i find it's more about alienation as lovecraft was a huge racist and was disgusted and terrified by the melting pot that is brookyln which is a metaphor for being terrified and disgusted by people in general, john darnielle is a genius.
even though lovecraft was a racist he was still brilliant. i respect smarts. i dont mind the fact that he was racist i dont agree with it but hey he was a genius
What do you feed a toddler that it gets to fifty pounds? Do you put bricks in the diaper for maximum impact? Please elaborate on your baby-throwing techniques.
I assure you 50 pounds is a very reasonable weight for an Olympic-level baby projectile.
I must decline your request however, as his training regime is secret both to edge out the competition and because it is technically serve child abuse.
This really has nothing to do with your video, but I went to our library to pick up some of Lovecraft's work, and they didn't have any, and I was sad :(
Well that ending isn't going to keep me awake.

FYI, Lovecraft later in life looked down on the prejudice ideas of his younger days, he was also deeply opposed to the rise of german antisemitism.

Not really on the video, but I have a Dawn of the Dead poster exactly like that hanging in my house, it's an awesome conversation piece!

My conversation pieces are usually more thrown-baby shaped.
Nothing says "let's talk" like a toddler hurtling at your face. That's a good 50 pounds of kid flying at you. You don't shrug off that kind of hit.

Yes, yes it is. Like I said: The comment had nothing to do with the video. I just wanted to point out the aforementioned fact.
The Mountain Goats for the win. I got Heretic Pride and Tallahassee for Christmas.
