Also does dropbox keep the files stored on the ipad once you download them or do you always need internet access to view the files??

Dropbox dosent save all the files on the Ipad on normal settings.

Under settings you can set up the ipad, to save up to 1gb of data for offline use.

In my case that isent enough, because my dropbox is about 2,5 gb at the time. :)
