Met Dale in 94 three weeks before he clinched his seventh championship. i was 10 yrs old. i told him nobody else had a chance. i literally said to THE MAN "ive seen what you do and nobody else does it as well as you do".lol at ten that took some balls. but hey he did it. proved me right too. i still get choked up thinking about how he signed my dads souvenir with a sharpie marker, but it hadnt dried on when he handed it back and it left a perfect thumb print right on that big swooping D of his.
