I first saw this video last spring, and must I say, Thank you. I use this at least once a weak, and it really helps getting my long hair out of the way. It's really hard to find tutorials for longer hair, since the tutorials who claim to be for 'long hair' usually only wrks for chest length. It's not easy for us with tailbone length... @Zippedychick They're called hair pins. Note a difference between bobby pin and hair pin, as well as the term "hairpin curve" on a road. These were used long before bobby pins. I have three inch celluloid ones from the 19th century.

Now it is classic, and I think it was near tailbone/hip in the video, if not even a bit shorter closer to waist...I think you should be able to do it, just depends on the hair texture and thickness.
