That said, assuming the validity of your data, the United States has a long history of outrage against an inherent good. We already have local law enforcement, the Sheriff's department, state police, DEA and ICE going after illegal immigrants, it's nothing new. If I carry my driver's license, social security card and voter registration card then why can't a legal immigrant carry their respective ID to be here? In fact, they probably do, it's common sense. SB 1070, however, requires law enforcement agencies to target, search and arrest anyone deemed under "reasonable suspicion" of being an undocumented entrant to the United States (read: not white).
