Empire State of mind is NOTHING without A Keys. Jay sounded like he does on any other song. Alicia Keys IMO made the song something special. I just wish her Solo Version, while good, was as Powerful as the original version.
I must say, this performance was certainly not her best and her vocals were a bit shaky. I know she was pregnant (not sure if that affected her). Maybe she was having an off day. Her live performances are usually spot on and incredible. Take the Piano & I concert for example.

@AdamIntellectual7 For the high standards that she sets for herself, this is not at her usual best. She was particularly pitchy at times. Again, she is an AMAZING singer, but this is far from being her best. Everyone has off days. :)
