Saw megadeth live a couple of years ago, and never listened to them since because they disappointed be so much

Decided to finally listen to some of their new stuff, which on cd is technically brilliant, but what makes metallica superior is that they, unlike megadeth sell it live.

He's being drowned out for the majority of this video by the rest of the music, just like when i saw them! that's Mustaines porblem, he should stick ot what hes good at - guitar.

Of course, Slayer owns them both :P

@erotomania12345 You obviously dont listen to much Slayer then :P Songs such as Dead Skin Mask have a much more eerie sound than fast songs such as Angel of Death. Plus they carry off their music live, which, ultimately, is where it counts. 'They just play fast stuff' - fast music is technical and hard to play, and i appreciate the skill involved, not just by slayer but by Megadeth, Metallica, and other thrash bands such as Kreator, Sodom, Anthrax etc.

And I felt your comment was a narrow minded fanboy comment :P However, I feel slayer could have added a greater amount of musical element. Most of slayer songs have the "shredding on the 6th string of the guitar" riff. There is no progression. Which is good for two albums, but for 20 years, I feel its just monotonous. Megadeth and Metallica, I feel, have done better

We all know that Metallica's first 3 albums were killer, and Justice n' The Black Album were both fine, but Megadeth has put out shit allllll the way through, even in the 90's when the only good metal was Pantera...but they are still putting out awesome records like Endgame. Its all up to personal preference man, yah just gotta focus the hate on new stuff like Deathcore and Nu-Metal, they are the real failures.

I agree 100 fucking percent. Sadly, metal is a dying art. All we've got are the innovating war horses who have been around for nearly 30 years, 40 years, and in some cases, 50 years! This by no means is a complaint. If it wasn't for these bands, where would metal be now? However, there are some glimpses of hope in the metal community. Hopefully, the horns can be reclaimed by their founders and metal can stand for something again.

I started to listen to metallica first, and i have to say that Dave Mustaine is a better musican then James and Hammet. Metallica tried to go old school, but it was missing something. Endgame was old school metal with amazing shredding technique executed perfectly. Endgame is by far the best album Megadeth h as produced and they are now on top. I love Metallica, but they have been dethrowned.
