We did land on the moon. We have landed on the moon a couple times actually. Also, the reason you can find the left behind probe is because it is on a curve on the moon so it would be facing sideways which means it blends into the black background since its so small. I agree Microsoft Live Earth is better. But you can only see everything from street level. Some cities are a lot clearer to view than others. I mean you read the lettering on business signs, billboards and adversting on vehicles. Most faces and license plates are blurred for privacy, but I have found some that weren't blocked out. Cities in the Pacific Northwest were better viewing in my estimation.
