We played that song at out band concert today. & i play the flute. This sounds nothing like the version of the song we play. This one sounds high and on a different pitch

It was ok....but I heard lots of clarinets squeak..... The clarinet people should have practiced the High notes! Cuz I play clarinet and the High notes are easy to me!! My band class is playing this song too so..... When we first played it.... We were not bad... But with practice we sound a lot better!!! Ok

Please tell me that was just the rehearsal. We are playing this piece in my concert band and we sound better, but we are not that good.

we sound better. cuz we actually made it sound like a train. nd we put in dynamics and the tempo. like an reel train. in the praire ritual we started slowly, like a reel train. then second movement souded beautifully. and 3rd movement started normally and at measure 17 we accelerated . nd each time got faster throught out the song. and yes i played trombone!!!!!!! for that sonng.
