  • ganbatte, omoshiori

  • Omg, I want to play!!!

    XD

  • Wow. If you'd teach online Japanese like this, I'd sing up xD

  • Sounds like a business idea for someone I think ....

  • You might want to copywrite it! lol, jk. It's a nice game.

  • man I'm gonna play this with my friends regardless!

  • lol, they're so cute! xD

it's nice to see them enjoy themselves ^^

  • Thats a really cool idea :D

  • Fun! Good incorporation of pop culture into your class. :-D

  • This is awesome.. Do you make instructional vids for learning japanese words and such?

  • Yep, there are loads on the GenkiJapanNet channel!

  • wow looks really fun :D

  • that's a great idea how to learn something! Games actually help you want to play and make you learn!

omg I just realized that you look exactly like my uncle!

  • That's really cute!

  • That looks so fun, wow,so addicted to this kind of learning.

  • it's really nice to see everybody is having fun..keep up your great lessions ! :)

  • Harry pottr?

  • you should make a halloween version of the halloween song or the harry potter game in japanese! that would be great. inless they dont have halloween in japan lol do they?

  • All the shops are decorated with lots of Halloween stuff, but people usually don't know what it's about.

I was thinking of doing a book of games like this for teaching Japanese. What do you think?

  • lol thats interesting that they dont kno what its about. and that sounds really kool! what kind of games would there be? and what words? lol

  • Have a look on the site, there are tons of them for basically anything you want to say!

  • i love this game xD

  • I use to be afraid that my teacher would do something like this. I don't do so well under pressure, although it gets you to study and know the words so you can participate! ^^

  • Me too, I used to hate them! It's not till you have to participate and the adrenaline hits you that you realise how easy the language part then becomes!

  • Looks like so much fun would keep everybody in a fun and happy mood ^-^

  • miii~ sore wa tanoshii wo mimasu.

i am 15 years old and am trying to learn how to speak nihongo and was wondering how kanji works, can you explain it to me?

  • Have a look on the GenkiJapanNet channel, there's a video I did a while back about kanji!

  • about how long when you first started until you got it great took you to learn Japanese? cuz my biggest goal in Life is Learn Japanese and live in Japan forever

  • That would be such a fun game for kids learning any language!

  • We usually use it to practice "What are you doing?" and verbs, which of course you can use in any language.

It also works really well with adults .... as long as they've had a few too many beers!

  • OMG! I am going to have to get my friends to play this at our Halloween/Birthday party. lol All of them speak english as a first language but I think they would still have trouble after a bit of witches brew. lol

  • man you speak so fast! lol I wish I had the motivation and dedication to learn the language. definitely an interesting lesson

  • Yeah, way too fast when I watch the videos back! Luckily everyone seems to keep up!

  • living in japan so much, what are your first thoughts/feelings when you come back to england etc ? views on people ?

  • People are pretty much the same everywhere. I guess the thing that sticks out the most is people not cleaning up after themselves in Starbucks or having to worry about people nicking your car!

  • its always the same comment from most people who have been to many countries (all people are the same were ever you go). People who normally say bad things about other countries are normally people who have not traveled. Sorry this is not related to your wonderful movie, but i think you have alot of experience to answer my questions :D

    Jamie

  • No probs, I think you've probably hit the nail on the head there!

  • I wish i had something like this here in England, except for learning Japanese.

  • Check out the Genki Japan site, it's not quite as much fun but it's all based on the same materials!

  • Yeah, i have. Ive been checking your Adobe entrance, about.. perhaps 20+ pages long, about an introduction to who you are, and what you do, complete with a picture of you when you had hair =P

You said you extremely recommend a certain book, which cost quite alot, and also, a word dictionary. I was going to buy theres but i just didnt because i dont have the motivation to learn. I get distracted WAY too easy, any tips?

  • It's just a case of sitting down and thinking WHY you want to learn something. Once you've done that it's an easy choice to either put the effort and investment in, or to spend the time and money on some other adventure!

  • Well im only 16 (Yes i know, plenty of time to learn) But i dont plan on staying in England. You can probably guess where im going to TRY and move to for work. So i need to know the language, else ill have a bad time there. Plus i want to chat with lots of Pen pals!

  • Fair enough. And chatting with pen pals is usually a really good way to learn. Sites like livemocha can be really good!
