It is usually the record companies, not the artist who objects to their song being used in this manor, I recall Weird Al Yankovic being threatened by a record company if he parodied a song by a British singer called James Blunt, and he was ok with Yankovic using his song, but his label wasn't
I am so glad I saved the original Worlds video to my hard drive when I first discovered it years ago. It is still one of the most special piece of SL 'art' I have ever seen
This is a great accompaniment to "Watch the World(s)" - Be sure to watch it first, then come back and see these excellent out-takes. VERY nice acoustic guitar accompaniment.
I know myself as an urban-life person living in big cities like Sao Paulo, Miami and Tokyo. But only to reflect my childhood('til my 6 y/o)when I lived in a vast and deep inland of Brazil. Memories come and go away and I want to reset myself to stay again in places like this video...
I see Vincent. Chillingly beautiful. Thanks Rob.

Guessing someone objected to him using the original song. Still beautiful and I think Vincent would have been proud and happy with this verson.

Robbie, you are an artist. Or, maybe you are a god. This creation is beautiful. Thank you, my friend.

Begs the question...what are you doing next, Robbie? And can we visit it before its gone?
WeeWeiners 2 years ago
So wonderful. I'm thankful that I was able to visit the sim before it was taken away.
Can you please tell me-why has your original "Watch the World(s)" machinima been removed from YouTube?
rashford 3 years ago 3
Agreed. Why was the original "Worlds" removed?

now i can't even access the replacement :(

Google "RIAA lawsuits" for your answer.
They dont like fan videos, free publicity for their artists, or any other "illegal" use of "their" music.

That's a spooky looking place. Reminds me of some of the scenes in the movie Beetlejuice.

i think it is when the sun comes up and the sky is pink, that this is at its most achingly beautiful.

it was a 3d re-creation of Vincent Van Gogh's Painting Starry Night, very famous one at that.

That certainly answers one of my questions! I love how the "THANK YOU" appears in sync to the guitar plucks. :)
