You people play into the hands of politicians, you spoil the hard work 250,000 people done to get there massage to British nation. click Justice party UK.
WTF none of the other protesters helped out,what a bunch of pussies.There was probably 10 time the amount of protesters than obscurity and yet nobody helped those being dragged away.
Do the people involved in this shambles actually think it gets their message across successfully? Or perhaps would they admit that this pathetic attempt at a protest just caused hassle for TAX PAYING Topshop staff and innocent members of the public. A real shame that somebody out there thought this was an intelligent way to convey a perfectly valid point? The point just seems to have been diluted by the unintelligible whining, violent outbursts and the childlike way in which this was executed...
It would be interesting to find out how many people who were protesting also aren't up to date with their contributions or have overpayments of tax credits through not keeping their records up to date. Obviously this is something we will never be able to find out. I do however agree that it is a disgrace that super rich people such as Sir Philip Green dodge tax payments & that people are willing to stand up against these people.
They're protesting because Top Shop avoids tax in the UK, by dumping profits into the owner's off-shore bank account, who is also the wife of its boss. Check #UKuncut for other tax avoiders.
@Whitchfinder1 "Post-tax profits" is of course what you mean. Dividends are only distributed out of corporate profits which are already subject to corporate tax.

Is there a list of companies that dodge paying UK tax, so I can boycott them?
I'll join the next demo in London.

@77MissyH
What violent outbursts?
these protests are peaceful and have brought the public's attention to the tax dodging by those at the top.
if it affects mr. green's profits, then that's a bonus, spend your money elsewhere.
