  • I'm shooting a school match tomorrow- no experience whatsoever. All I know is that I have to avoid flash like the plague :) (You shoot with flash, whatever the result of the bout is, it's the photographers fault)

  • Nice one!

  • Hi David, I like your videos very much! Good to see when a professional photographer has own projects. Thanks for sharing!

  • thanks for posting this great content, I always learn watching your videos

  • nice video david! still wish we could have made the small strobes workshop happen in boston :( let me know if you do decide you want to come! im pretty sure the studio in worcester is still available to use!

  • I've been able to use a single SB in a seven foot box.

  • Another great video, I always learn something and am thankful for your sharing it.

So the four square system basically allows you to get more light, thus use a bigger soft box to get a softer light and cover a larger area? Are there any other benefits? How big a soft box can one strobe such as a SB-26 or Vivitar 285 handle in your experience?

  • Great to see you working on a personal project Dave. Always love to see your videos and perspective on things. This one is no exception.

  • David! this is sweet! I really like the last shot. But the darker 1/250th one it looks great!
