  • They're beautiful fish

  • you're tank is really overstocked. I would see if anyone with a large tank or pond can take on some of the fish and I'd move maybe two of those wee guys into a 55Gal tank. :)

  • Aww those are some cute goldfish (: I like Boss and Duck (: there awesome. I LIKE ALL YOUR GOLDFISH

  • owh.....its nicee :)

  • how old is your big fish?

  • You need at least a 55 gallon for

Goldfish unless theyre the fantail kind that only get up to 6 inches. You can have a couple of fantails in the 25 gallon and maybe a snail but "boss" will get up to 2 feet!!!

  • @TheEmpowered787 fuck you bitch

  • is that a tank from home n bargains, did it come with the bubbler cus i got that one

  • @plasticmeercat

Nope. I get all my stuff from local shops and private parties- not box stores.

  • I have yet to find a video without people complaining about the size of the tanks!

  • @WinstonAzul At least I had them in a proper bubbling tank, not a bowl. I'd never do that. But I did start out with 7 of the chubby fan tails and very unfortunately, lost all but one- deemed Lucky, from that- in this vid, and they were in a 5 gallon tank. Irresponsibility that I must be accountable for. That I learned and grew from. That I'm sorry for.

  • Get a bigger tank dude.

  • @SmellyGymShoes

I would if i still had them.

  • you need 40 gallons tank, since each goldfish need 10 gallons space for growing.

  • @mexheix

Didn't know this. Wish I could get them 100 gallons to play in, but alas, they're not my fish anymore. My friend who I'm staying with for a short time more has adopted them during my move. They seem to have lost energy!

  • when you feed your fish does the big fish (boss) eat almost all the food that u give him because i have 6 fish and 1 big fish that EATS everything

  • @mrshoecolletor

Yeah, he is pretty greedy. He certainly eats all he can, and often overpowers the others, or blocks them, such as when the food is coming down. Fortunately, this gives the others a chance to get to the bottom before the food falls.

But he's so big that he makes a lot of noise if he ever sucks at the surface or picks up a pebble, which he does pretty often.

  • @yukSchmuck lol well i really like to put him in a separte tank because its started to worry me that if my other fish dont eat they will starve TO DEATH but i only have a 1.2 quart tank (betta) and 1.5 gl tank but i dont think that will work right.

  • @mrshoecolletor

You just have betta's, or...? Bettas have different habits. As well as deadly electricity they can shock a foe with!

  • @yukSchmuck no im talking about a the type of tank betta tank

  • @mrshoecolletor

That's kind of a small tank for goldfish, bro. But you can only do what you can...

  • "Boss" looks just like my own fish i have at home! ;)

My one is about five feet long, i have two other fish which are about the same size also. and one medium sized around 2inches.

I have a bigger tank for them though. You're tank is a bit small for the fish, especially Boss.

  • @Hotlips4000isback

You have a goldfish that is five FEET in length??? Not 5 inches? I don't think so.....

Yeah, I would say the 20 gal. tank is not quite big enough, and certainly does not support additional fish, but am not able to upgrade right now. In fact, I'll probably have to find a new home for the whole family, when I move soon.

  • @yukSchmuck

Five inches i meant Lol! ;p

Three of them are that size, and like i said in my original post, the medium sized one is about 2 inches.

Yeah, i had a small 10 gallon tank when i stared out. I had two small fish in it(about 1 inch long) and when i really got into the hobby and wanted more, i got the biggest tank i could afford(55 gallon)

I am now thinking of upgrading again! ;/ it's quite addictive, and expensive!

  • @Hotlips4000isback

Yeah, that makes more sense. I'm probably going to quit fish keeping while I'm ahead. Before I have to buy a house with a pond!

  • @yukSchmuck

Yeah, probably a wise move otherwise you won't be able to enter you're own home! ;p

I would like to get Tropical fish, I've always has Cold water ones as they are much easier to take care of, especially when i was starting out.

I think i want a new challenge now, Tropical fish might be the answer.!

  • You can tell when fish are bored or stressed. Their gills expand quicker when upset or they just lay on the bottom not moving.

If you ever want to upgrade a good place to buy a tank is via Craigslist if you want to get a bigger aquarium for them.

  • @sweetvegan74

That may be true, but I don't think we can tell if fish or any creature is bored unless we are intuitive.

This was a Craigslist upgrade of a 5 gallon tank.

  • Those are very happy contented fishies (:

  • @sweetvegan74

Thanks. So it would seem. They may be bored...I would be if I was among them.

  • ooh i forgot to mention i was watching ur video again and ur tank is a little bigger than mine maybe by 1 or 2 gallon

  • wow thats a wonderful tank u got there :) i also have a tank like that for my goldfish and i have 8 of them and i've only had them for a month now. to be honest i would love to have a bigger tank for them but its so darn expensive

  • @milothebeagle08

    Thank you very much.

Too be honest, I would get a bigger tank, because you could have over crowding in a 5 or 10 gal. tank.

I started with 7 of the little fan tails (ie. Lucky, sole survivor from that bunch) in a 5 gallon tank, and kept losing 'em. At the very least, I suggest stringent cleanings. At least once a week, flake food instead of pellets etc...

  • @milothebeagle08

I purchased the tank on Craiglist for $25, with a sack of gravel and an external filter unit. Of course, I had to drive an hour away, and was late to work coming back, but it was worth it.

  • @yukSchmuck ah i see my goldfish are all rather small so having them in a small tank is fine as of right now. ah i c but i dont live in america so i dont know the prices of the tanks there but here it is expensive the tank that i bought is (if i convert it to USD) 68 USD which is much more expensive than urs. :(

  • @milothebeagle08

Ah! I see.... In that case, I'd encourage ingenuity. In a little shop here in china town, they cut plastic barrels in half and turn those into fish tanks, for example.

  • @yukSchmuck oh that sounds like a great idea. but my father only wants to have a glass tank he has some issues with other kinds (which i dont want to get into) i had a plastic storage box for my goldfish but then my dad told me to change it so i had to :( but they are doing well at the moment and they are small compare to urs maybe when they start getting bigger i'll try to find something big and cheap or just get another small thank and separate them

  • i have one the same size as the big one you have ! Cute fish:D

  • some people say that, that would be way to many fish for one tank and thats its unhealthy. but clearly not! its the same with my tank my tanks really not big enough some people would say for 2 fish but ive had 2 in there for 2 years now! honestly people talk rubbish now.

amazing tank by the way! really awesome

  • @lPinkRainn

Thanks for your praise! As an amateur fish keeper with my 1st tank, I appreciate that. To me, a 20 gallon tank would seem adequate for 5 of these guys, especially when I have seen a fish store with a gynormous melon sized oranda, and sev'l other fish too. Of course, shops are not known for their humanitarian conditions. Actually, to be truthful, more fish than this has seemed unsustainable- so maybe there is a ratio of about 1.25 fish per gallon. I'd like to keep 7, but it nvr works

  • How do you feed your fish vegetables? i would like to start introducing mine to veggies but i dont kow how... XD

  • @XmissfenixX I don't end up doing it very often, but you basically have to mince it into very fine pieces. Sometimes you have to parboil first.

Bananas are really easy because you just crumble it to little bits.

    Don't overdo of course.

My experiments with celery didn't work, because they could'nt swallow the pieces, regardless of how I processed them. They'd just pop out of their mouths and surface. So, I guess, it needs to be slightly heavier. I'd make sure they can eat whatever it is 1st.

  • @yukSchmuck oh cool, thanks for that XD i thought it might be nice for them to have a bit of a treat once in a while XD

  • Anybody else having problems with viewability, or is it just my new computer? It wasn't corrupted when I put it up, but now seems to be.

  • @yukSchmuck Nah, it works fine for me.

  • @studpuppy69

    Thanks, bro.

Seems the flashplayer doesn't work with 64 Bit versions of Windows. Lame-o.

  • big one doesnt pick on the littler ones?

  • @liandrin1

I don't think so. They are very polite. They very rarely even brush fins.

  • nice
