i got my bros first 360 the red rings, the next one got stolen, and now he has a new one and it freezes evry now and then but wen i turn it off and on its fine but this time it froze i turned it back on and it froze within like less than a minute in game pleaasee giv me som good news??? i will feel absolutly HORRIBLE if i get him the rings again DXXXX

I have the MW2 ELITE XBOX apparently they made it so its easier to tell when RROD will happen I cant tell if this is one of the signs. when I play MW2 I pick up a care package and the little killstreak symbol for what it is goes away and a grey box with purple and green tiny squares in it appears for about 1.5 sec. everytime this happens when I pick a care package up it also sometimes will stay on the screen until I pick another one up but only in game. is this a big prob?

my 360 is the loudest of all of my friends but i have had my 360 for about 2 or 3 yrs straight, but it is only the loudest when i put in and play the halo 3 mythic disc but other than that i have no other symptoms that you explained in the video. So my question is this, is one symptom enough to give you the red ring?

@walkingdeadman75 another reason might be (if your xbox is the 2005-2006 xbox 360) cuz the graphics chip/gpu might not be advanced enough for halo 3

When I turn off the xbox the fan still goes on for another 10 secs at least and today as soon as i took the chord even the light stays on now for a couple seconds which it never did before. Now idk what it is, and ill feel like a dumbass if it turns out its nothing, but I just want to be sure

Can someone please respond to this? What dose it mean when your fans start to get quieter and it says that it cannot read discs. It only happend once to 1 game, but the disc was clean. Do you know what it could be?

my xbox keeps getting the three rings, but once i turn it off i don't get it for about another 30min. the fans are a lot louder than normal. I don't necessarily have the film grain, but i have a checkered board pattern that goes across my screen, and when that happens there is an annoying static sound. my xbox freezes on the dashboard. do i send it to microsoft?

@jbams03 dont wait till it completly break from the rrod symtoms my 5 year test show a xbox sent in and repaired when the symtom in earty stage survived to this date and still working a xbox at its best waitin when the symtom crash it to it rrod on all times then repired last 4 time at best 3 times more then avg 2 times avg 1time bad xbox. crash on first day - faulty
