  • Took my time building the kit over a few days. This series of videos was a great help in double checking things during construction such as the final wires that connect the antenna input to the board and the pad to insulate the nut from ground. Thanks again for going to the trouble to post this video Elmer guide. de N5IP

  • Thanks for an excellent overview of the build. My kit arrived this weekend, it's a rainy day and I have free time. 73, N5IP

  • This is by far the best and thx a whole for the series

  • Hi Gee,

    great series!

I just built mine, but the OP amps do not have the correct voltage on pin 14 (1.4VDC) and the LCD tells me "RF OSC KAPUT" !

Any ideas? Would you say the LM324's are kaput?

    Cheers, Ben

  • @VK2BEN Hello Ben when I built mine I was very surprised it worked, and if it did not then I would have been stumped. So I guess the best idea is to email VKSJST the man his self and I'm sure he will put you right. Sorry I don't have an answer for you take care from the UK.

  • Nice video!

I didn't see the value ox the reactance X. Was it really zero?? I never been able to get zero!

    Thanks Anselmo IZ3BGJ

  • Well done Gee. It's a great source of reassurance to have seen the kit being built before I attempt it myself.

I think I shall find the desired position for the freq. range knob and file a new flat there rather than pull the switch apart. Do you think that would work?

    Thank you. David 2E0DAI

  • Great video, I just built my own analyzer. Works well. It was a good help to watch the video. Waiting for new videos and projects. hi best 73´s HB9DQH, Kurt

  • just google vk5jst and you will find all the information you will ever need, in the uk the cost at the moment is 150 Australian dollars that's £70 plus import duty which was £16 good luck.
