I studied abroad a year (University), sorted 3 types of english: there is posh, but very few people sound like it, to be fair; then regular english, it just has a bit of a characteristic accent and was even perceptible the cities where people where from; finally the one where people actually don't say the words completely and mix some weird sounds in between. It the beginning it was hard to understand them.
