  • FL Studio Express Edition $49.00

    not free.

  • @Apkuro - No FL Studio is not free. Who said it was? You do get Lifetime FREE Updates when you do buy it however.

  • According to this video...

The fl studio awesomeness test was about sneak peaks, melting your face off, and a dancing 1800s lady getting down with a tasty fruit hehe Best video EVUR!

  • WHERE CAN I PURCHASE IN MIAMI IF I DON'T WANT TO PURCHASE IT ONLINE.

  • @mackenj16 - Try Guitar Center.7736 N. Kendall Dr. Miami, FL 33156

  • @imageline It's about time you changes the mixer.. its a joke.. and what about recording .. when i record something then render it as a waveform and listen back the quality is terrible so i record again except render in the hhighest quality i can but its still terrible.. you should try updating that because it and the mixer give fl a bad name

  • @MCDEVVOMAN - You seem to be having problems working out how to use FL Studio correctly. It records with the precision and quality of your soundcard's capability. Why not drop into our Technical Support or Looptalk fourums where we can sort you out.

  • @imageline i recently bought a xonar soundcard for 70 euro so i really dont think its that.. i was having problems with the crackling buisness but my soundcard sorted that out so its not the soundcard but you never know it could be my comp : / no i know how to use fl a good bit but im no master at it.. (clearly or all my songs would be alot better) i just bought it 6 monthes ago so im still learning but other people who have used it alot longer than me complain about it too...

  • @imageline also dont get me wrong but i love fl studio like it was my child.. everyday its all i do when i get up im straight on making a choon and if im not but im at the comp fl is always open and i just mess around and learn new things about it but little things like quality and the mixer (which you have updated) will make fl alot better and more professional... and another quick thing about my soundcard.. it worked fine in ableton when i recorded ;)

  • we need this program on spanish please gays text write vocoder we need on spanish

  • tell me that the awesome mixer in the beginning there is FL's future mixer and not some video fx!?

  • @Player2NOR - It's part or FL Studio 9.5 upward

  • This gotta be the coolest advertising for a YouTube channel ever!

  • The Awesomeness Test was an attempt to bring FL Studio to its knees but FAILING because of 9.5's keep-on-disk feature. That's pure Awesome.

  • most awsomest music ever!

  • Did Toby Emerson use FL Studio for this song?

  • @IINRVII - Yes made in FL Studio. All the music we use is.

  • i love FL Studio, thx for such a nice program. Btw: great track in this vid :D

    greetz

  • i dont know how the hell to get fl studo 9.5.... ;(

  • @pinkandpurpleshoes2 - Check our Looptalk forum, if you are not a customer then you can't get it (yet).

  • wow

  • actually good, i made some stuff in demo :D just like it

  • The answer is- " Watching Imageline on youtube"

  • From 0:00 - 0:20

How do you do that to the mixer track?

  • @soupspoonproductions FL STUDIO 9.5 :D

    New features i think :)

  • @soupspoonproductions - Check our FL Studio 9.5 Beta video

  • Is there any reason why an autosave feature hasnt been implemented? it'd be great to at least have the option to enable autosave, where it can create a a dupe of the track thats' being worked on. Since the flp files are small i dont think ppl would have a problem having a duplicate file as a backup, still maintaining the original file untouched until its manually saved.

  • @CyXBeAtZ - Autosave has just been added to the next version. Coming soon.

  • @imageline The LONG AWAITED AUTOSAVE!!!!! WOOOHOOOOO!! You guys RoCK!!!

  • @CyXBeAtZ - It's in FL Studio 10

  • @imageline When Is FL Studio 10 Coming Out?? plz get back too me.

  • I love that track btw, where can I purchase it?

  • @IvoSimeonov - Download the Deckadance beta. It ships with the program (the song is by Toby Emerson)

  • DEAR IMAGELINE: I love FL Studio BUT let me say this.. all I'm begging for in FL 9.5 or 10 is the ability to delete "event editor events" without a fuss. I beg, that's it and I will buy two copies and advertise on campus at school for free!

  • @JamesIovine - Can you open this topic in the Image Line Looptalk forum, we can discuss exactly what your concerns are and if/how they can be addressed.

  • Loved the way the mixer worked in the intro!

  • So what happened to the winner's list Imageline (Scott)? There's no June 31st LOL. But anyway can we see a winner's list?

  • @hassbundu - See the video start. Down the bottom.

  • @imageline Ah okay, thank you! Congratulations winners! And Imageline for goodness sakes can we please have a tutorial contest of sorts. Best tutorial say you know.. the winner gets access to the Imageline forums (full text) =]

  • @hassbundu - Thanks for the competition ideas. BTW: All paying customers have full access to our forums. This includes first access to FL Studio betas. 9.5 should be up shortly.

  • Heyho... nice that fl studio's going to have 32/64 bit support for plugins...

    Nice for Albino et...

  • What was the 'Awesomeness test' really about?

It was about the update to the 'Keep on disk' function to be available in FL Studio 9.5 version. The new Keep on disk will allow FL Studio running on Windows 32 and 64 bit to load an almost unlimited Gb of sample data.

  • the awsome test is about FL Studio 9.5 that will introduce a new wrapper that can be set to run plugins 32/64 bit in their own 4 Gb/Unlimited memory space. All without touching FL Studio's memory allocation.

  • You guys are amazing, what you do with music. I love FL Studio and look forward to all your future developments and anything you do in the future. I support you 100%!

  • @DarkFaze - The future is now. See the FL Studio 9.5 beta video.

  • It would be an awesome idea if Imageline invents a plugin that uses Subtractive synthesis for lower tones while using Additive synthesis for higher tones to produce a richer sound dynamically in the case that if you play a low note (like C3) then the subtractive synthesis kicks in while additive synthesis follows by playing a high note (like C6, C7).

Whoo, is that clear enough for ya?

  • " What was the "FL Studio Awesomeness Test" really about?"

    It's a twofold motive behind all that screen-captured super-sawing:

    1) boosting Imageline's YouTube channel view count and pumping it up in the popularity ranking

    2) confusing people into thinking there's 31 days in June (the deadline posted on the FL homepage) - but to what end?

  • saw i left a comment and nothing happened

    well yeah its marie antoinette

  • awesome !!!

  • can't wait to use FL Studio 9.5. i use Fruity Loops since Fruity Loops 3.5. I'm glad to see how FL Studio grow up. This is the greatest audio production software ever. Thank you for made it and successfully continuing.

  • Win stuff ??

I'd like to win stuff! I use FL Studio since Fruity Loops 3. And there is NO faster way from my brain to my ears.

  • ...is it something to do with awesome memory management ?

  • my awesomeness test with 9.5 is about the new memory feature - hope i can load all needed orchestral elements by VSL Opus 1&2 with directwave VST - hope it can handle the 5GB - because i have only a small RAM at of 2GB! so i'm looking forward ... the brigde idea is amazing ... simple and lets hope working for all plugins ...

btw when is 9.5 Release Date?! i can nothing find on the IL Page or in the Forum!

    Best Regards Trancestorm

  • any dates on version 9.5?

  • The awesomeness test is about FLS 9.5 Memory Management - 64/32 bit bridged wrapper

  • The test was for the new plugin wrapper in 9.5 that can run plugins within a memory space reserved for the plugin alone, completely separate from the DAWs memory allocation. Should be awesome for samplers and other memory intensive tomfoolery.

On a separate matter, that mixer with the vertical waveforms in the beginning is damn awesome!

  • It all about Memory Management

  • The FL Studio 9.5 Memory mangement...

    Pick me plz! Im poor...

  • Hello!

The awesomeness test is really about the new, better memory management in the FL Studio 9.5!

    I hope you pick me!:)

  • This video is about starting FL 9.5 on a very old 486, it's the best memory management ever!

  • Well i think it`s all about Fl Studio users can use the program to the fullest and not being limited using wave`s or plug-in`s. Using bridge mode increases the capacity of the program, in witch chase Big wave files can be loaded without having any problem of memory usage allowing the program to run fluently.

  • This vid is about launching FL 9.5 on a 486 DX with 16 MB RAM and 100MB DD. Period.

I'm still waiting a floppy version for my Amiga600 though.

  • Even though Marie-Antoinette really lost her head, I don't want to loose mine and a chance to win by making solely 'observant & cultured customer's jokes...

The awesomeness test was the 'DirectWave VST 1.6 Gb sample bank memory test' presented in the end of may (Memory Management - 64/32 bit Bridge wrapper). The test showed how the 'Bridged' mode uses none of FL Studio's own memory allocation (even with a huge sample bank like the Tonehammer's Epic Toms library that was loaded during the test)

  • All about having fun and show the ease of use. Join a cool company which will make the musicworld a better place for all, JMC Rocks !

  • The Awesomeness test is about how the program manage memory of plug ins normal vs brideged modes and proves that brieged mode utilizes less memory

  • The Awesomeness Test appears to be about FL's new ability to use MASSIVE samples without impacting its footprint. Call me fickle, but I'm equally excited about them new fader graphics ... purty!

  • The Awesomeness Test appears to be about FL's new ability to use MASSIVE samples without impacting its footprint. Call me fickle, but I'm equally excited about them new fader graphics ... purty!

  • The FL Studio 'Awesomeness test' was really about a new wrapper design that runs plugins in a "bridged mode". This new mode allows plugins to utilize their own memory space, and not FL Studio's.

Did anyone else notice the Mixer saying, "Pick me!" in the start of this video? The update to that looks pretty awesome too, btw. :)

  • It´s all about the help by the videos postet here at youtube.

  • It's about the alpha version of 9.5 and the memory management feature related to DirectWave

  • The awesomeness test: FL Studio 9.5 Alpha & Direct Wave VST 1.6GB SAMPLE BANK memory Test. 1.6 GB..yes!!!

And also uses much less CPU.

  • Improved practicality in the use of samples played directly from the disk of the user's computer.

  • Demonstrating a revamped UI.

  • Its the FL Studio 9.5 alpha & DirectWave VST 1.6 Gb sample bank memory test which essentially is about a new feature of FL Studio 9.5 which allows plugins in the wrapper to use their very own memory space.

  • I guess the awesomeness test was all about showing off how little RAM allocated to FL studio is needed to play huge sample libraries in bridged mode.

And also beer and aliasing :D

  • why does fl studio need an awesomeness test. we already know its awesome and will only get awesommer with the improved memory management!!!

  • The FL Studio Awesomeness Test is about EVERYTHING around FL Studio.

    New mixer

    New memory management capabilities.

  • Some may have not noticed it, but I saw the subliminal image of Marie-Antoinette wearing head sets and picking up fruity loops flowers from the Image Line's garden...awesomeness test of...vision, isn't it? Take care to keep your head (set) on, lady!

  • @arnideno - Nice to see we have some observant & 'cultured' customers :)

  • @imageline isnt it a fruit it looks like a fruit to me hence the term fruity loops

  • FL Studio "Awesomeness test" is testing of new wrapper that can be set to run plugins in their own memory space without touching FL Studio's memory allocation!

  • I really love FL Studio. This video is really ingenious. With the good mood of the FL Studio Team. The awesomeness test show the new features included on FL 9.5, included a many plus updates to program core (in mixing, mastering, routing) about smart allocating memory algorithm. All another features that Image Line preparate to the users (Tutorials, Plugins, Effects)... and other good stuff. Its only a pretty ad to a pretty well built soft or is it possible to be another thing???

  • New mixer and sort of new Disk streaming aka FL 9.5 new memory management capabilities.

    Kind regards

  • It was about the new mixer and memory usage for 32/64 bit pcs that will "melt your face off!" haha やー! 待つことができない。。。

  • The awesomeness test is the performance difference between the old and 64/32 bit bridged wrapper. Which yes, is part of the new Memory Management stuff in 9.5.

  • 1. Scoop the mids from kicks+ compression

    2. Cutting sub-50Hz bass & sculpting to the kick

    3. Sidechain the kick to the bass, making more room for the kick

  • The Awesomeness test was comparing FL Studio's current and improved Memory Management capabilities (which is going to TOTALLY sweet!)

  • The awesomeness test was to showcase FL Studio 9.5 Alpha's new memory management capabilities! Bring it on ImageLine!

  • The Awesomeness test was a test to show that the samples loaded into FL studio did not use any of the memory allocated by FL studio.

  • it was about using less cpu, so u can do more... stuff. and be creative without killing your computer. i know im getting it!

  • It was about FL v.9.5 Memory Management.and about how to kill a yak with your own bare hands

  • It was to test the new memory management feature in FL Studio 9.5, allowing users to play samples directly from the disk of their computers. Pretty awesome feature if you ask me.

  • Yeah, I say give it to the guy who's been using ImageLine stuff for 10 years now too.

  • FL Studio 9.5 Memory Management. 1603 Mb down to 191 Mb = Impressive!

  • The Awesomness test has show us, that the new FL studio read and play samples direct from the disk. That means, that samples won't be load first from the disk to FL and than to RAM, but that the samples will be directly played from the disk, which allow us, to load big files in FL, without losing GBs of RAM. The size of loaded samples in FL, will be only limited by the size of your HDD.

  • FL Studio 9.5 alpha & DirectWave VST 1.6 Gb sample bank memory test

  • snore since everyone already answered the stupid question, I say gimmi some free stuff cause i used your software for like 10 years now. imagelines got lots outta me. gimmi some love back.

  • FL Studio alpha awesomeness test about memory management in the new FL Studio 9.5. By changing how the sound files are stored it makes it easy for your pc to read and play back your music. Great Job Guys, Cant wait for this to come out. Keep up the good work.

  • FL Studio alpha awesomeness test about memory management in the new FL 9.5

  • The awesomeness test was about memory management (particularly with samples) in the new FL 9.5

  • the awsomest test was about the memory management mode at teh new fl 9.5

  • After watching this video it shows that it demonstrates the FL 9.5 memory management . More channels on the mixer board, you get more sounds and tweaks along with better memory usage. Having to manage more than 4gb memory running with the 32 bit, keeps it from crackling when running multiple channel when your song is completed. THE GURU videos at the end seem to inform us the we can go on you tube and watch the video to get a better understanding on how to use FL studio

  • "FL Studio 9.5 Memory Management - 64/32 bit bridged wrapper" is a system which allows Fl Studio to manage more than 4GB memory as with 32-bit applications.

Moreover the "Keep On Disk" option improve Fl Studio RAM management by keeping samples on the HDD.

    Regards

  • It shows the Memory Management FL Studio 9.5!

    Ouh Yeah!

Also a Cooler and better looking Mixer.

    Yes Indeed!

    Regards Graggamoor

  • The awesomeness test was about FL Studio 9.5 Memory Management.

  • It shows the "FL Studio 9.5 Memory Management - 64/32 bit bridged wrapper" which allows to load big projects without loading all samples into the available RAM of FL Studio (normally < 4GB since it's 32Bit).

So FL Studio itself seems to be left in 32bit but with the wrapper it can use 64bit where it's needed (on a 64bit system).

The "keep on disk" feature will also improve the memory usage since then it's not necessary to load all samples into ram.

    I hope I'm right ;)

  • The awesomeness test shows off the bridge mode, which has vastly improved memory management! Looks great.

  • The answer to the question is that FL Studio has a brand new mixer that they want to showcase that integrates a new interface, includes wave candy for better monitoring and mixing, sports a new and improved bounce (Enable send from kick to pad - Bounce) functions that will enhance user workflow, and allows the user to view the wave form of each mixer track without having to go to the playlist window. In addition to showing their you tube page, Fl Studio guru, remix contests, and new features.

  • The answer to the question is that FL Studio 9.5 is going to have insanely better memory management. I can't wait.
