@imageline It's about time you changes the mixer.. its a joke.. and what about recording .. when i record something then render it as a waveform and listen back the quality is terrible so i record again except render in the hhighest quality i can but its still terrible.. you should try updating that because it and the mixer give fl a bad name

@imageline i recently bought a xonar soundcard for 70 euro so i really dont think its that.. i was having problems with the crackling buisness but my soundcard sorted that out so its not the soundcard but you never know it could be my comp : / no i know how to use fl a good bit but im no master at it.. the awsome test is about FL Studio 9.5 that will introduce a new wrapper that can be set to run plugins 32/64 bit in their own 4 Gb/Unlimited memory space. All without touching FL Studio's memory allocation.

my awesomeness test with 9.5 is about the new memory feature - hope i can load all needed orchestral elements by VSL Opus 1&2 with directwave VST - hope it can handle the 5GB - because i have only a small RAM at of 2GB! so i'm looking forward ... the brigde idea is amazing ... simple and lets hope working for all plugins ...
btw when is 9.5 Release Date?! i can nothing find on the IL Page or in the Forum!
the awsome test is about the new feature in 9.5 about memory magment introduce in the fl studio 9.5 teaser cant wait for 9.5 i have been using fl since 3 it has definitly came along way
The test is FL Studio 9.5 alpha & Directwave VST 1.6 GB SAMPLE BANK MEMORY TEST or as every other person has said its the memory management that 9.5 have and even if i don't win i would like information about why is it epic. i just make beat i don't go in to the technical side of it that much :-)
The test was for the new plugin wrapper in 9.5 that can run plugins within a memory space reserved for the plugin alone, completely separate from the DAWs memory allocation. Should be awesome for samplers and other memory intensive tomfoolery.
On a separate matter, that mixer with the vertical waveforms in the beginning is damn awesome!
The awesomeness test is about FL Studio 9.5 Memory Management - 64/32 bit new bridged wrapper that can be set to run plugins in their own memory space without effecting FL Studio's memory.-Thanks for being awesome imageline!
Well i think it`s all about Fl Studio users can use the program to the fullest and not being limited using wave`s or plug-in`s. Using bridge mode increases the capacity of the program, in witch chase Big wave files can be loaded without having any problem of memory usage allowing the program to run fluently.
Even though Marie-Antoinette really lost her head, I don't want to loose mine and a chance to win by making solely 'observant & cultured customer's jokes...
The awesomeness test was the 'DirectWave VST 1.6 Gb sample bank memory test' presented in the end of may (Memory Management - 64/32 bit Bridge wrapper). The test showed how the 'Bridged' mode uses none of FL Studio's own memory allocation (even with a huge sample bank like the Tonehammer's Epic Toms library that was loaded during the test)
The Awesomeness Test appears to be about FL's new ability to use MASSIVE samples without impacting its footprint. Call me fickle, but I'm equally excited about them new fader graphics ... purty!

The FL Studio 'Awesomeness test' was really about a new wrapper design that runs plugins in a "bridged mode". This new mode allows plugins to utilize their own memory space, and not FL Studio's.
Did anyone else notice the Mixer saying, "Pick me!" in the start of this video? The update to that looks pretty awesome too, btw. :)
Its the FL Studio 9.5 alpha & DirectWave VST 1.6 Gb sample bank memory test which essentially is about a new feature of FL Studio 9.5 which allows plugins in the wrapper to use their very own memory space.
Some may have not noticed it, but I saw the subliminal image of Marie-Antoinette wearing head sets and picking up fruity loops flowers from the Image Line's garden...awesomeness test of...vision, isn't it? Take care to keep your head (set) on, lady!
FL Studio "Awesomeness test" is testing of new wrapper that can be set to run plugins in their own memory space without touching FL Studio's memory allocation!
I really love FL Studio. This video is really ingenious. With the good mood of the FL Studio Team. The awesomeness test show the new features included on FL 9.5, included a many plus updates to program core (in mixing, mastering, routing) about smart allocating memory algorithm. All another features that Image Line preparate to the users (Tutorials, Plugins, Effects)... and other good stuff. Its only a pretty ad to a pretty well built soft or is it possible to be another thing???
The awesomeness test is the performance difference between the old and 64/32 bit bridged wrapper. Which yes, is part of the new Memory Management stuff in 9.5.
It was to test the new memory management feature in FL Studio 9.5, allowing users to play samples directly from the disk of their computers. Pretty awesome feature if you ask me.
The Awesomness test has show us, that the new FL studio read and play samples direct from the disk. That means, that samples won't be load first from the disk to FL and than to RAM, but that the samples will be directly played from the disk, which allow us, to load big files in FL, without losing GBs of RAM. The size of loaded samples in FL, will be only limited by the size of your HDD.
snore since everyone already answered the stupid question, I say gimmi some free stuff cause i used your software for like 10 years now. imagelines got lots outta me. gimmi some love back.
FL Studio alpha awesomeness test about memory management in the new FL Studio 9.5. By changing how the sound files are stored it makes it easy for your pc to read and play back your music. Great Job Guys, Cant wait for this to come out. Keep up the good work.
After watching this video it shows that it demonstrates the FL 9.5 memory management . More channels on the mixer board, you get more sounds and tweaks along with better memory usage. Having to manage more than 4gb memory running with the 32 bit, keeps it from crackling when running multiple channel when your song is completed. THE GURU videos at the end seem to inform us the we can go on you tube and watch the video to get a better understanding on how to use FL studio
"FL Studio 9.5 Memory Management - 64/32 bit bridged wrapper" is a system which allows Fl Studio to manage more than 4GB memory as with 32-bit applications.
Moreover the "Keep On Disk" option improve Fl Studio RAM management by keeping samples on the HDD.
It shows the "FL Studio 9.5 Memory Management - 64/32 bit bridged wrapper" which allows to load big projects without loading all samples into the available RAM of FL Studio (normally < 4GB since it's 32Bit).
So FL Studio itself seems to be left in 32bit but with the wrapper it can use 64bit where it's needed (on a 64bit system).
The "keep on disk" feature will also improve the memory usage since then it's not necessary to load all samples into ram.
the awsomeness test shows the superiority in the programs of FL studio over any other program. Shows how far FL studio is coming along and how it keeps improving to be the best music/beat program on the planet. The test also shows off the new features, such as the bridge mode. All this new enhancements will make users work better (:
The answer to the question is that FL Studio has a brand new mixer that they want to showcase that integrates a new interface, includes wave candy for better monitoring and mixing, sports a new and improved bounce (Enable send from kick to pad - Bounce) functions that will enhance user workflow, and allows the user to view the wave form of each mixer track without having to go to the playlist window. In addition to showing their you tube page, Fl Studio guru, remix contests, and new features.
The "Awesomeness test" is about the new version of FL Studio 9.5 being able to work without constrains on 2 GB RAM. This new wrapper is able to run plugins 32/64 bit in their own 4 Gb/Unlimited memory space without touching FL Studio's memory allocation."
Awesomeness Test, Is In My Opinion, The Multiple Plugin Load With Out the Crash You Would Get From Other Daws, Also The Fact That This DAW Is A Lot Cheaper Than A Pro DAW Like "Pro Tools" And You Get All These great Plugins With It, That With The Sound Quality, You Can't Beat That, No Way, I Love This Program I Use It in My Web Radio Show For Creating Intro Background Music, and Comercials, Love It Keep Up The Great Work Imageline, from The Disfunctional DJ, Disfunctional Radio Show
Wow... This is very great for people that uses very audio channels like me... good news, all imageline news are very good news for me. But i have only 2 gb of ram... but may be in the future, more. Sorry for my poor english.

" What was the "FL Studio Awesomeness Test" really about?"
It's a twofold motive behind all that screen-captured super-sawing:
1) boosting Imageline's YouTube channel view count and pumping it up in the popularity ranking
2) confusing people into thinking there's 31 days in June (the deadline posted on the FL homepage) - but to what end?

vibeman007 1 year ago

1. Scoop the mids from kicks+ compression
2. Cutting sub-50Hz bass & sculpting to the kick
3. Sidechain the kick to the bass, making more room for the kick

I hope I'm right ;)

The answer to the question is that FL Studio has a brand new mixer that they want to showcase that integrates a new interface, includes wave candy for better monitoring and mixing, sports a new and improved bounce (Enable send from kick to pad - Bounce) functions that will enhance user workflow, and allows the user to view the wave form of each mixer track without having to go to the playlist window. In addition to showing their you tube page, Fl Studio guru, remix contests, and new features.
