at 1st i was sceptical...but after reading the lil info left on ur channel...now i belive it....good luck with finding your parents and I hope all is well ^^
I also like Cocoichi. I disagree with the sentiment that it's like the curry people make at home; I haven't had packaged curry that's as good.
Plus Cocoichi lets you adjust the spices up to DEATH levels. I always get the hottest curry at Indian places and the hottest buffalo wings at those places. But at Cocoichi in Japan, I had to go down to a 7 (out of 10). Also, I like the variety of toppings you can get: spinach, fried oysters, cheese, and of course katsu curry were my favorites.
My favorite Japanese style curry shop is C& C curry shop. Pork curry. reasonable and delicious. many chops in Tokyo. Shinjuku, Yurakucho So if you have a chance, give it a try, I hope.
i have calaculated the other 3.5 students and i believe after working with sony and many corporation the other students may dislike curry ..thank you for you worldly excellent style ..ken what color is your pubic hair thanks for your contribution to relations happy world and gratitudes fully
@4K4K1K0 no just alot of japanese people dont use western cutlery...when u eat ramen in japan for example u pick up the bowl and drink the soup and use chopsticks to eat the noodels...but i know for a fact koreans know how to hold a spoon corectly but as with forks and knives many fail xD cuz they dont use it every day...just or rare occasions when they eat western food like steak etc XD
I just had some great curry at an Indian restaurant off Oomori-Kaigan station a couple of weeks ago. Alas, I left Tokyo just before your big gathering.... ;-(
all those poor japanese people trying it for the first time only to find out about the anger it brings years later. Hope they have a western style toilet otherwise it'll be a horrible mess.
The spices in curry is very good for one's digestion, although Japanese curry is not that spicy. Curry has been in Japan since the Meiji era (1869 - 1913) and is one of the most popular Japanese foods so don't think it's something foreign in Japan.
It looks good, but I can't eat anything spicy. I don't necessarily think it should be sweet, but for some reason... scalding my tongue is something that I don't find very enjoyable lol. Maybe if I were an old man?
When I was about 10 a friend of my parents who was Japanese started a Japanese restaurant, and they had tons of curry and taught my mom how to make it. I ate so much of it I eventually got sick of it. lol
LOl loosk like ur a food GURU! and i have to say im jeloous of all your Travels :) but i do love watching it so much , especialy when u spilt/droped food at 1:56 lol heheh coure we wont mention that will we shhhhh lol

When I was a kid there was a very good curry restaurant in Matsue. It had been there for many years and was run by an old man. But when he passed on it dissapeared.

Japanese curry is not at all spicy. Japanese people don't really eat spicy foods, although things like kimuchi (kimchi) is popular nowadays.
If you go eat at an Indian restaurant in Japan, you'll find the "super spicy" food is actually not. So don't worry :-)
