@MH20Music parents complained the original was too violent so they made a toned down version of the game with some missing cutscenes from the begining

@MH20Music In the Original RE:DC they had a Advanced and a Training mode, while Directors Cut took those out and put a Beginner Mode and a Arrange Mode. Also, the original RE:DC featured a longer and more gorier video clip in the beginning of the game, and RE:DC shortened this clip due to its graphic video. (I'm pretty sure but not positive about the video)
