  • gotta love the Northstar

  • I just imagine a kid runnin out there without looking. Wow

  • I like the 96 ss impalas, but in the mean time i think ima roll with a 95-99 aurora for sure. Maybe turbo it :D

  • it's standing still , it's the world that's moving . pile of junk

  • Good way to kill some kid. Not very smart.

  • looks like you were haulin ass

  • aahah yeeee I should say man for a funny wool sweater wearer u seriously kick sum ass behind the wheel I was doing same thing all summer long last year in a 98 continental with a 4.6L Ford modular V8 , producing similar hp and torque ( 260hp ~ 272 ft - lbs ) they are serious fun! I am planning to buy the 2001 model Aurora with V8, are they any fast? they sure look it in this vid!

  • @GodlessMartyr666 I own a 98 and they can move, mines lost a step since i've put 40k on it but i've touched 135mph a few times with it. i wouldn't go so far to say that they're very quick, but they are decently fast.

  • At 0:37 northstar kick in

  • A closed course with pedestrians? LOL

  • i had a 97 and my lil brother had a 240sx and he said he would smoke me lol he never had a chance lmao 3 times and he got smoked everytime

  • closed course?proffessional driver? lol nice

  • are thease RWD?

like comparible to the crown vic.

  • @mifan93 Unfortunately not... fwd

  • Sweet car man! wonder how it would go if you put a turbo on it?

  • Is the traffic the other professional drivers on the same closed course?

  • I like the sound to the car...its very throaty

  • omg love the "first person" camera angle!

  • i owned a 95' in high school. this video brought me back...

  • i own a 95 and 99 at around 250k miles stuff goes bad fast

  • I love these cars!

  • Just as the foreign brands stick to what they know, Gm, ford and Chrysler should've stuck to what they knew which was how to make big sporty v8 cars!

  • whats the horsepower of the aurora v8?

  • 250hp

  • i own one and its quiet compared to my sevelle STS. great care if you want affordable luxury. it was GM attempt to break into the US need for European cars in the states in 1995.. the aurora 4.0 was used in indy car racing.

  • it was used as a pace car, they didnt race it.

  • actually yes they did

the aurora gts1 was a race car and the engine was retuned and put into an olds irl car

  • I'd think an outside view would be nice when use kickdown, To show how fast it picks up

  • Wow it looks like a fast driving machine.

  • Haha...AWESOME...love that V8 sound...makes me want to get one now!

  • COLD! im thinking of buying a Aurora.

  • oldsmobile was once a luxury car and then it became a piece of shit made by gm to compete with shitty toyotas

  • Oldsmobile also used to be the experimental race car division for GM and then it became a piece of shit to compete with shitty toyotas... Fuck.

  • i must say sir that this video scared the crap out of me!! nice car though

  • HMMM very nice! I have a 98 and I must say I fall in love with it more and more each time I get in it. I too noticed that at the beginning your car was not up to full operating temp, surprisingly it really does make a difference with these cars. And WOT runs with it below full operating temp can be dangerous on the alluminum. All in all though I love the exhaust note and the way you had the lens set up. Good video.

  • Yes never EVER run these cars hard until they get up to temp. Too many HG's go out that way on these.

  • dont even get me started on pulled heads either

  • yup been there done that once before with my seville. Never again I said. Ended up throwing in a good used engine in the long run. Too much damage to the crank and bearings.

  • Whoa! What a nice sounds!

  • Their is nothing like an Aurora. Especially a V8 Northstar sound. I just recently bought a 95 model with 215,000 kms on it for $1500 Canadian. That car rides like its still new, the cars history of maintenance was regular, oil changes when needed and a new set of brakes. Pretty good for a 13 year old car, and I blow the doors off anything I see unless its my bosses 79 stingray with ceramic headers, that things nuts itself. But the sweet bellow of my new Aurora's engine turns heads everytime.

  • Awsome car!

  • shortstar v8,btw hows your trans? im terrified of getting one because all i hear about are horror stories of gaskets and heatercores, oil leaks, electrical shorts etc.but i want one sooo bad ne ways!

  • i the owner of one, it is at 98,000 miles mines a 97 so it features far more things then the one shown here, really with my car i have had no problems with the engine at all just the security key the by pass feature with the key (i had to pay 110 dollars to have that fixed) other than that its a really great car!!

  • the shortstar is the 3,5 v6 based on the v8. and i have a 2001 4.0.truley a great car.find one with low miles and you will understand what i am saying.all cars are going to have there glitches, that is just cars.

  • my 1998 olds aurora has 163,100 on it and still runs flawlessly. only problem was a cracked radiator at 157,000 and a new belt. and trani still id good too. its the electrical that creates problems.

  • Great video! Auroras sound great.

  • Wow! Have to love the Aurora.

  • thumbs up!

  • i just noticed that she is just barely over 100 degrees bro she performs best rite around 200 degrees

  • Ok seriously 95oldsaurora the only comments you ever post are comments on temperature, do you even know how a thermostat works?, or a cooling system perhaps, or what a cooling fan is??? Stop acting like your a badass when you don't even own an aurora, its your moms.

  • O and btw, unless you have "superman eyes" i dont think you can see the temp.

  • i just noticed that ur a dumbass no one can see the temp guage and i doubt u even see the temp guage in the back seat of your moms aurora

  • the only reason it looks like its shot from the back seat is because i have a wide angle lense on my camera to get a more "real" look as though you're driving the car

  • ilovemyaurora.....the comment above was being directed to 95oldsaurora. We all know that you shot this vid with a wide angle camera lens.....it looks good though. There's a vid called passing in the aurora that was filmed from the back seat of 95oldsaurora's moms car. lol, and that's the dickweed the messages above were directed towards....not you.

  • Great!

    Respect! Great video!

    I love Aurora...

    Her sounds...

  • Ha ha, sounds Great!!

  • i love my aurora also and we all know why i love that second gr. pull
