wow this helps me figure out what breed my dog might be...i got her as a gift, her mother has a long tail and looks like a chihuahua, dont know about her dad...she has a short stumpy tail, likes to carpet surf and loves catching rats and killing them in the yard...... soo her dad must be a terrier of some kind.....she also loves to follow me around and constantly be next to me

@tupelohoney01 CLyde has definitely calmed down. He turned 13 in June. He still has lots of energy. By far the best dog I've ever had!

Terriersdo it because when they are ratting they will crawl up to the rats boltholes like that and wait for them to peek out. It's so they can reach as low to the grouund as possible.
