Hi there, have you ever considered what life might be like if you identified as a "human being who has gay attraction" instead of a "gay human being"? Curious.
Homosexuality is no more a choice than heterosexuality. If you don't think so, then exactly when did you choose to be heterosexual? I choose to be straight, did everything a church told me to to become straight, got an exorcism to become straight, and almost committed suicide when none of their BS worked. There are many people who went to a church instead of someone not so ignorant and many of them now are dead by suicide or traumatized and atheists as a result of the church.
Thank G/d for GAY PRIDE -- Celebrate what G/d made you, not what some fundamentalist christian has decided that Jesus wants you to be............ Shame, People who are gay are born gay. People who are hetrosexual are born that way. Each to their own.

People seem to think that it is their duty to uphold the steriotypes that surround their social group. I'm in NO way bitchy or girly. I jave acepted who I am and will NOT let anyone convince me there is something whrong with me. It's just so sad to see that people can be controlled like this, your supposed to be living in a free coutry, DADT is dying out, and social atitudes are gradualy changing. Oh and, sodomy id precticed upong women to, and not all gays like it anyway.
This is really upsetting, they have givven in to the biggots and fools who brainwashed them into thinking there was something seriousely wrong with them, rather than stand up for who and what they are, they have lay down and let someone control their lives. This is a defeat for the gay comunity, no self respecting gay would go through this crap, your either gay or your not, you can't change who you are. Being "efemanate" is NOT a sybiot of homosexuality, why not be gay AND be a man?
@meatisdeliciouse i think i get u im 6 4 an about 3feet wide slim tho big frame an not at all efenanate but my woman man or bean fear as we say an gaelic is efemanate an cute an dances an all that other gay stuff so i dont think anything is a give away realy people allway think im st8
Ex gay ministries: bringing people together. Although not in the way they intended.
Truth be known: I never had ex gay experience. However: I still relate to the isolation, I spent the majority of my life imposing my own isolation on myself because I had it reinforced there was something wrong with me.
When you finally realize that there's nothing wrong with being gay... but with the people who THINK there's something wrong with being gay, it is really liberating.
i am very confused i understand that ur against the ex gay camp but u say bob looked better yet he is working with the camp so wouldnt that mean hes still "ex gay"?
This is great. Please search Bob and Rob wedding Amsterdam. Our real video is now on You Tube. We just recently got married and are the happiest two people on earth. Negativity need not apply here as we will live our lives happy and content while a faction of bigots can waste their days consumed with hatred. I think our path will yield a happier/healthier life. ENJOY
@p2son I'm a hardcore orthodox Christian, trust me being gay is not the end of the world, if u still want to be Christian which it appears u do try praying first before speaking to a minister or whoever. Religion is about you and God only! not u God and the church comunity! Never lose hope, soldier on and trust your self and God. I wish u all success in life!
PS it's very painfull watching u as u appear in pain plz don't lose hope!!
I don't know about 'survivor.' I do know some people make a darned good living from the material this phenomenon of 'reparative therapy' has given them from their eperiences involved in it. We queens love to scream about how tough our lives are. Well half our planet are living life in poverty we have never known and without the most basic health care. We need to get over ourselves and stop 'celebrating victimhood'.
I also believe that these large "group thing" therapies, are more destructive than not. True christianity, though having its judmental side which is firm and unbending, also has it's merciful side, which is soft, consoling and loving. The true deliverance of sin, particularily, this one, comes from simple, real, deep study of the bible and friends that deeply love us and care for us. Don't let a bad experience stop your quest for spiritual freedom, but avaoid the internment camps.
In all honesty Peter, I do believe homosexuality to be a sin.Probably one of the worst. Not that God views it as being different than others, to him, sin is sin. That's evident from the ancient writings. I believe it to be the worst, because, it snares the heart tighter and more strongly than any other sin, as I believe it to run with a strong desire for emotional satisfaction. You just can't get from a bottle, what another human being can give you.
The fact is that homosexual conduct was common and accepted in Biblical times. There was no distinction between "homosexual" and "heterosexual" and those who refused to engage in homosexual conduct were considered "anti-social" - anyone familiar with Roman and Greek culture knows this. There is nothing in the New Testament about homosexual conduct. Those who use isolated Bible verses out of context and mistranslated are exactly the type of people whom Jesus Christ condemned.
@Atlavocat Fornication is explicity forbidden in both the Old and New Testaments. Fornication is ANY sexual relations outside marriage. Marriage is defined in both the Old and New Testaments as the union of a man and a woman by which they become one flesh. Distorting the Word to suit fashionable societal standards is a particularly nefarious form of blasphemy.
@wzldog "And Adam said, This is now the bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." - Gen. 2:23-24
Homosexuality may have been commonplace within the Roman Imperial time, but it wasn't something tolerated concerning the Jews of Jesus' time. There's nothing that was mistranslated or taken out of context, simply your fabricated and distorted interpretation of scripture. And its an extreme likelihood that you will not and can not prove your bogus claims regarding these so-called "out of context" and "mistranslated" verses.
@TheReformed1 Actually in many ways it doesn't matter. The purpose of my vid is to reveal how dreadful ex-gay treatment can be. I highlight the painful, and I believe harmful, experience of ex-gay treatments that try to de-gay people. Having spent 17 year earnestly following a spiritual course to de-gay myself often assisted by ministers and counselors and knowing over 1,000 who have done the same with harmful affects, ministers need to consider these treatments are terrible pastoral care.
@p2son ok, I can understand that there are many different takes on the effects of "programs" for many different ppl. You say ministers, pastoral etc. etc. and de-gay. You also say it really doesn't matter as to your homosexuality being current and active, or past. But it is in the fact, that it would appear, thru some of the vid's on here, u r promoting pro-gay "programs" ie: camp firefly, and steering others away from pro-christian programs. Am I correct in that statement?
@p2son I feel great pain knowing that there is such a horrible practice going on in this country. I am a Catholic, so I do believe homosexual conduct is a sin, but the sense of shame and the general hatefulness perpetuated by this type of program is truly indefensible. Nobody should be made to feel that they're inferior in such a way. Nobody should have to feel that they disgust God or that He's ashamed of them. His love is one thing that can never be taken away from you.
Look some ex-gay cures work! Exodusinternational could not have stayed in business for 34 years with no success rate at all! Obama knows a cured gay (see my postings)!
@Bestmanme08 The book Obama:Why Black America Shoudl have Doubts shows this of Obama! And the book Ted Kennedy:The Early Years shows he got kennedy help in getting elected!
they dont tell you that youre flawed because youre homosexual. they say the root of your homosexuality is emotional trauma suffered as a child. every action you take in life is a direct effect of experiences you had previously in your lifetime. people seek fulfillment by using drugs or playing an instrument or inflicting pain upon others. you seek fulfillment through intimacy with people who you can identify with more.
@EazyTarantino - Except that no psychologist or psychiatrist has ever found one single documented case of a child suffering emotional trauma and "becoming" homosexual (or heterosexual). There is absolutely no evidence that emotional trauma and sexual orientation are linked. There is a considerable amount of evidence that sexual orientation is fixed before birth and is evidenced by differences in the brain.
@Atlavocat I reach out to gay people all the time. I have reached out to you, but you chose not to believe me. I am who I am, I am who I need to be, what I want to be and for the first time in my life I am living. I have no chains to bind me, I finally do not have to be anything other than who I am. I am not limited to a life that was dictated by a sexual attraction. If you want that then go live your life, but it did not fit into my life. I just want Jesus' guidance daily, and this is it.
@39Mustangman I do not think you know yourself, I know you do not understand Gay men. If you truly followed Jesus Christ you would be working to convince homophobic bigots to accept Gay people as their neighbors and brothers. You would teach bigots to reach out to their "enemy" just as Jesus Christ tried to teach that the Samaritans (who were hated by the Hebrews) were good people, too. I will pray for you. But you really shouldn't be wasting your time here - Gay people don't need bigots.
@Atlavocat I do not teach bigotry, I teach love. I love all people, including you. That is not the guidance I am getting from Jesus. The guidance I get is sex is to be used between a man and woman after marriage. Just because I do not see things your way, does not make me a bigot. I have been where you are, and I want nothing to do with it. So,if anyone wants to know how to be truly happy with themselves, I know how to do that. I know how to get rid of chains that bind.
@39Mustangman - The guidance you get is "sex is to be used between a man and woman after marriage" is only a result of your bigotry and prejudices. It is not what the Bible says, it is not what Jesus preached. What you are saying is that Gay people cannot engage in homosexual sex and go to heaven. Do you not realize how evil that is? Do you not realize how many Gays are driven from Christianity because of your message? Do you not realize how many Gay youths are driven to suicide?
@Atlavocat If someone commits suicide there is more going on in that child's head than meets the eye. Homosexuality is just the excuse. Again, I do not preach bigotry. I ask for Jesus guidance daily, and my result is me. I am happy being married to one woman, and sex with that one woman. I am not only happy, but better off because of that. If this is not how you believe, that is your prerogative, but I can tell you, once I gave it all to Jesus, my life became happier.
@39Mustangman - You do not preach Christianity. You preach hate and lies. You drive good people away from Christianity and people like you drive many Gay young people to suicide. If you can't see that, you are totally blind. You may have a happy life, but I doubt it. People like you never remain "straight" - if you were straight you wouldn't spend all your day on a Gay YouTube video site trying to convince others what you do not really believe yourself.
@Atlavocat I think you need to re read what I stated. I never once said you could not go to heaven. I can not judge, I was where you are now. I can never ever say that to you or anyone. That is between you and Jesus.
@Atlavocat Good luck brother. I pray that God watches over you and that all is well with you. May you live in the life that makes you happy. I only wish you all the best. God bless, and take care.
@Atlavocat He touched me years ago, when I finally realized there was more to life than living by sexual desires, addictions and attractions. He touches it today, he will touch it tomorrow, and and he has guided me through this great life I have today. He even touched it when I was living a miserable existence living in the gay life that I really did not chose, but learned to accept, because that is what the secular world believes, and preaches. I pray the same for you my brother.
@39Mustangman - I certainly think you are touched, but not by Jesus Christ. I am comfortable in the knowledge that Jesus Christ loves me exactly as I am. I pity you because you cannot see that. I bathe in his light and glory and you wade in your own sexual insecurities.
@Atlavocat I am so glad that you can put me down. I am certainly glad you are "comfortable in the knowledge that Jesus Christ loves me exactly as I am." I doubt he would hate you any way your are, or for that matter anyone at all, and I am glad you "bathe in his light". However, I doubt by the way you curse me, and mock me, is the way he wants you to behave toward me. I have never once stated anything negative toward you. I have only love and compassion for you. God bless you.
@39Mustangman - I do not curse you. But you come to a Gay video on YouTube and try to convince everyone that God hates homosexuals and homosexuality. Most people here know that it's not true. Jesus Christ condemned people who did exactly as you do. You will have to justify yourself to Jesus Christ. But you are convincing no one. You are only trying to convince yourself.
@39Mustangman - This is not about you. This is about dishonesty and your lies about Jesus Christ and Christianity. You need help. Seek it and stop bothering people here.
@39Mustangman - I've dealt with people like you for forty years - they all claimed to have become heterosexual and "saved" - they all wind up coming out of the closet and asking for my forgiveness. I say to them (as I say to you) that God will judge you for the pain that you cause - and I doubt he will forgive you.
@Bestmanme08 - If you read Paul's Letter to the Romans from the beginning in context you will see (as it is plain to any objective reader of the Bible) that Paul has nothing whatsoever against homosexual acts, what he condemns are Christians who have "lapsed" into Pagan ritual worship - which did include some heterosexual and homosexual acts and which Paul considered "unseemly" for Christians, but Paul never condemned homosexuality - only pagan religious practices.
@Bestmanme08 - It is interesting that homophobic bigots quote from Paul, who never met Jesus Christ and was not a disciple, but was instead a "Pharisee's Pharisee' despite the fact that Jesus Christ condemned all Pharisee to Hell. If you bigots were true Christians, you would find that Jesus Christ condemns you as he would have condemned Paul, if they had ever met.
@Atlavocat But the fact that he turned the Pharisee of Pharisees into an apostle, shows your lack of knowledge and understanding of our world. See, it's like this y friend. You can't say out of one side of your mouth, that you want respect and acceptance, then out of the other side of your mouth, curse those who would and do actually love you more than your so-called friends. It's just that simple.
@TheReformed1 - Jesus never met Paul, Paul was not a disciple of Jesus Christ. Paul never ceased to be a "Pharisee". Those who are familiar with the Bible know that.
@Atlavocat So exactly what bible is it that your reading? Paul takes great pains to make sure his audience sees clearly his transformation from christian killing pharisee, to frontline messiahnic jew. At least that's what Bible scholars and well read/researched christians know. As for the "out of context Bible verses you mention here...whatever makes you comfortable in your error.
@TheReformed1 , Couldn't agree more! Atlavocat is going to remain in his error, because that's what he clearly enjoys. He makes it a routine to distort scripture to accommodate himself.
@Samc023 thank you for throwing your opinion in on this. It's amazing to me, how whenever your opinion varies from theirs and you voice it in reasonable tone, you're thought of as a homophobe, or you're being judgemental! It's almost to the point of humorous.
It was my pleasure, the very truth in your words compelled me to respond. And yes, erroneous accusations of supposed "bigotry" and "homophobe" are common ad hominem and manipulation tactics these advocates like to implore whenever their distortions are met with irrefutable truth. It wouldn't be loving to allow one to wallow in sin, sadly we now live in a time in which anything goes and people want their ears tickled . God's Word is non-negotiable.
@Samc023 - But you don't know or care about God's word. You use a few isolated Bible verses to condemn those whom you personally dislike. You are no better than bigots who use Bible verses to condemn Jews, Gypsies, African-Americans, etc. You are not a Christian, you are mentally disturbed.
Interesting. For a person who claim to hold many degrees, you sure are limited when it comes to articulating a sound argument for your erroneous claims. You also seem to be under the false impression that those who warn you regarding your error intrinsically "hate" you and that is truly a warped view to hold. Its also disturbing how you have no qualms with using other groups as tools just to defend and further your radical social agenda, and you say I'm disturbed?.. yikes!
@Atlavocat You'folks have got to start to realize that tolerance and acceptance are 2 very different things. 1.) Christinas tolerate homosexuality, but we don't have to accept it as an alternative, acceptable lifestyle. 2.) you HAVE to accept that in a world such as the one we ALL live in, there are varying beliefs and just because we don't agree with you and we voice it, does not make us hateful. Provrbs 27:6 "Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful".
@moopism The statement that is being made, is that often times, becuase of the deceit of our enemies and false flatterys, we're taken in by them and we repell those around us who tell us the truth for our own good, even if it hurts. But the pain we feel from the truth will never destroy us. It's like the pain you feel whewn you grab a hot pan off the stove without a mit as opposed to not have pain sensitivity nerves. We'd like not to feel the pain, but the ensuing damage wouyld be far worse.
Interesting how you presume that Christ would condemn Paul despite the fact that Christ called him to be an apostle to the nations. The words of Paul completely refute your bogus claims. What's also ridiculous is the fact that you keep insisting that Paul's words have nothing to do with homosexuality, then turn around and presume that Christ would condemn him as a Pharisee. You clearly want it BOTH ways huh?
Peterson, I find your story very inspiring. I saw you on Montele Williams and your story is much like the story of Joseph (which is my favorite..been in it several times myself). God has made you and has placed adversities in your life so that you could learn and help others to love themselves. Being gay is your gift from the creator. I'm gonna try to find you on FB. Hope you accept my friendship. Peace
My name is Olivia and I found your video incredibly interesting. My church put on a production of Joseph about a month and a half ago. I've always found Joseph extremely moving. Now that I have heard what you have to say, as a bisexual myself, I have a very different view (in a positive way). Thank you for posting this video!
@TheRealJohnnyFrisk LMAO so true. dont be showing musicals to gay guys!! if i knew that i would have audtion for ex gay ministries just to do a show. LOL well what do u expect from self hating gay guys who go into this sick "ministry" and end up trying to change others when they cant even change themselves.
@Sidney38SNJ Whatever makes you sleep at night! I am in a better place, happier, and can not go back. You live your way, and I will live mine. I did not choose this behavior, but I am glad it no longer dominates my life. I am married to a woman, and I can not think of a better life. I no longer have the depression, destructive behavior, and lifelessness I had while groping men. Good luck, I wish you all the best.
@39Mustangman - I have met many men like you, they all wind up looking for sex in restrooms and parks. And when the wife finds out, the shit really hits the fan. If you had depressive, destruction behavior while openly Gay it was because those feelings were within you and the result of homophobia. Homophobia is pure evil.
@Atlavocat You have not met one man like me! You do not know me! I have chosen to follow Jesus. My life is not lonely, unhappy or perfect. If you knew me, then you would know I do not have to live for sex. Therefore, you do not know know me, I live for Jesus, NOT sex. My life is not guided by groping people for sex in the bathrooms and parks. And, how would you know about these guys anyway? Homophobia may be evil, but I wish you all the best.
@39Mustangman - I know hundreds of people just like you, they all claim to live a perfect life - they all lie. They use Jesus as an excuse to condemn others, despite the fact that Jesus condemned to hell those who used the Bibel to condemn others. Not all people, Gay or straight, live for sex. But you would insist that all Gay people must not have sex - which is totally unChristian and drives good people away from Christianity.
@Atlavocat These 100s of men you see out doing what you claim they do, are either selfish or addicted to sex. The next time you see one, you need to ask them why they are out doing what they do with a wife and child at home. As for me, wanting sex with men or woman, is a desire. How I choose to handle that, or for that matter anyone chooses, is their choice. I will not, and can not allow some pesky same sex attraction blow my dreams and my goals away. I am committed to my wife ONLY.
@39Mustangman - A lot of Gay and Bisexual men try to commit to a woman - and some succeed for a while, but few can maintain that facade for very long. There are a lot of women who enjoy being married to a Gay man, it's the women who don't know that I worry about. If society were not so homophobic, a lot of married men would come out.
@39Mustangman - If you are so commited to your wife, does she know that you spend hours watching Gay YouTube videos and discussing homosexuality with other men? Who do you think you are kidding? Do you really think your hypocritical comments are going to change anyone's sexual orientation? Or are you really looking for some Gay guy to connect with?
@Atlavocat I have been through it all. Take care brother. I am not going to argue this. Yes, my wife knows everything. I can not live in a house with a great person and not be totally open with them. You have a good life, I am not arguing with you. Thanks for the commentary though.
@39Mustangman - I hope that you find a good man one day who will accept you the way you are, so you don't have to live in fear and darkness. Jesus loves everyone, Gay and straight.
@Atlavocat Have you read anything I wrote? Why would you wish that on me? That would destroy everything I have, or ever wanted. All my goals dreams would be torn apart! I live in the LIGHT. I do not have fear. I do not have to fear, because people who are my real friends know about me, and my past! Meeting anyone other than the committed relationship I chose would destroy me, and my family, and men who destroy their marriage for a sexual desire are selfish.
@39Mustangman - People who marry just to prove their sexual orientation are selfish. When your marriage ends - as almost all do - in a couple of years, you will regret all the foolish things you did for all the wrong reasons.
@Atlavocat The only thing I regret is not ASKING JESUS to guide my daily life before I was 20. Then I could averted all the counselors all the heartache, and the miserable experience of being "GAY". The lesson of true love is, loving the person you married, knowing that you are secure to live your life with someone truly committed to you, and knowing when you wake she is there, and even when things go terribly wrong, she is still there I am not trying to prove my orientation.
@39Mustangman - If it works for you, fine. But your wife must be a saint - or you must be very rich - as it does not work for very many straight people and much fewer who are not straight. Why didn't you pray for Jesus to give you wings? You would have had just as much luck with that. I know many more Gay people who are happily married than I know straight couples. As I said, if it works for you, fine. But I bet it will not work for very long.
@Atlavocat I DID NOT pray for the gay to go away. I prayed to do what Jesus wanted me to do. That is not how it worked. I am not in a sexless marriage. You are not reading what I have written. I do not have justify my life, and I have been married 20 years to the same woman. The gay life I lived was empty, lonely, dark, and extremely vain. No one wanted me for anything other than casual sex, hence the emptiness, and I was lonely before I even opened up to the Gay life.
@Atlavocat My wife is not Asian, if that would make a difference. Why all the generalizations? Think about what you want out of life, before and after you came out? Prioritize those, and figure out what is good for you. You can continue to bash me for what I did, but remember I am here to hurt you in any way, just make you see you can anything you want. ANYTHING.
@39Mustangman - You do not hurt me in any way. I'm 58 years old and I've seen and heard it all (or almost). I just want Gay people to know that they having nothing to fear from Jesus Christ, that HE accepts you as you are. That Jesus loves all of us, Gay, straight, Bisexual or very confused. Jesus doesn't want care about anyone's sexual orientation - just how they treat their fellow man, their neighbor. And Gay people are your neighbors.
@Atlavocat Fortunately, it is NOT who I am, it is a challenge from God. I took what I have and made the best life I could possibly make. I have NOT one regret. For whatever reason God gave me a challenge of this Same sex attraction, and I am doing the best I can. I had to accept the fact that I had the same sex attraction, but I do not have to live in the "gay" world, and I do not have homophobia. It was a life that was vain, and emotionally draining for me. Ur right,God loves everyone
@39Mustangman - Fine, you're Bisexual and happy with a female, fine for you. But I am a Christian and God accepts me as the Gay man I am (and have always been). You go preach on your street corner and leave Gay kids alone.
@EazyTarantino - I hope one day that God will teach you - maybe through your Gay children or a Gay relative - that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality. There are many Gay Christians who follow his word and teachings.
@Atlavocat my uncle is gay and ive had gay friends. i dont think its a terrible thing for a person to be. i also dont follow religion so god has nothing to do with it for me. id like to know what the specific differences are in a brain of a homosexual and heterosexual person. are there people who are heterosexual with the same differences?
@EazyTarantino - Of course, it's not terrible to be Gay, many of the most intelligent and creative people who ever lived were homosexual. If you want to check out the physiological differences in the brains of Gay and straight people just out Dr. Simon Levay, for a start. You can google him.
@39Mustangman - Is your wife Asian? I know a LOT of Asian women (particularly Japanese) who marry Gay men. Like most women, they aren't too fond of the sex in the first place, but they are used to being subservient to men. You do know that Jesus said that, in heaven, there was no "male" or "female", so why would it matter to him if you were married to a man or a woman? Love is love.
@Atlavocat Look, I know you did not chose to have a same sex attraction, nor did I, but if you truly want something out of life other than empty hollow vanity sex, and true friends. I found a way to move forward, and live life to the fullest outside of that, and have a wonderful life with a great wife and two of the most awesome boys to walk the face of the earth. I did not want to use Jesus to get that life, but that is the only way I know how to get SSA out of my life.
@Atlavocat I believe I pretty much stated I was not perfect, first time I responded to your response to me. As for sex, the body is a temple, I want to keep my temple clean. Therefore, I do not want to have sex with multi-people. That is just the way I am. I can not judge you or anyone for their behaviors, because I AM NOT PERFECT. I can only live day to day, and on those days, I ask Jesus to help me get through one more day, if only for today. Just me, but works well. I wish you well too!
It bothers me in the same way that it would bother a black person, seeing another black person preaching about how becoming white is possible for the grace of Jesus!
We are who we are and there's nothing wrong with us. Stop refering to being gay as if it was something negative beacuse it is not. We should be working towards the end of the discrimination. Not preaching self-hate.
I find it ironic that EVERY SINGLE PERSON I have EVER seen to claim that they are "ex-gay" manages to mention God somewhere. Apparently, an obsession for religion is the only thing more powerful than an obsession for penis. Go figure. Apparently, atheists are just too apathetic to care about their own sexuality.
There is NO SUCH THING as an 'ex'-homosexual. Those who say they are 'ex-gay' are either deluded and burying their true feelings, or, as I suspect and EVIDENCE SHOWS, were BI-sexual, or only experimenting, clearly not gay. Its amazing how many people who merely experimented or were *BI*-SEXUAL, think they are 'cured', when TRUTH be known, they were never even gay in the first place!!
There is no sitting on the fence you are either born heterosexual of homosexual. If you "were" gay but are now married I pity both you and your partner who will suffer through unfulfilled half-lives of denial on your part and "I can never make him fully happy" on hers.
And if you think you ARE happy then all I can say is that you really don't know a) what happiness is and b) what you're missing out on.
@nvek69 Thanks for your input, but I am happy, and I am married to a woman. I did accept the fact I had same sex attraction. I have been put down relentlessly my whole life. Now, I am being put again, because I have truly gotten over being gay. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done. I am not Anti-gay, but I do not want to look back at grade school, and my 20s. There are no boundaries in life, only the ones we place on ourselves. I am truly and ex-gay.
Never was bi. Sorry, you can not label me and place me in some sort of box. I was never ever bi. However, I was pretty much addicted to homo sex. So, I had to get over the homo behavior, and once that was done, I had no desire to be with men. I did have to use Jesus.
Sorry you feel that way. I had to change, there was no other way for me. Why are you so harsh about me? I am not asking you or anyone to change! I just know that it is possible. Jesus made it possible. You just have to have a little faith, and that is true with anything in life. Have some faith in anything, and you can do anything. I wish you all the best. Happiness can be had by all, with just a little faith. Take care! I wish you well.
@nvek69 The scientifically proven is what Dr. Spitzer stated? Does not help your case that gays are born that way. It does not explain me. Honestly, why does it make a difference if they change or not? I had same sex attraction, but its gone. I do not understand why it is a big deal! If someone has the ability to change out of a same sex attraction why wouldn't you say good job. Especially, if that is what they wanted? I know it is not easy! I am not asking you to change!
How do you know? Have you ever tried? I am living proof. I am only attracted to my wife. Not men, or women. It is extremely difficult to change it, but in the end it was worth it.
Definately not asexual, but if I am some form, so be it. I am happy being married to the woman I chose, and happy being where I am today. It took 5 years to get to get to the point I am today. Thank God I am here, and I regret NOT one day of it. As for being demihetero, that too was not what I was prior to transformation, but I am attracted only to my wife. Either way, I thank for the choice I made.
I guess if there is a need to label me. Anyway, I was totally attracted to the male at one time. I am just not now. It was not a choice to be attracted to the male, the choice was to go out of my way to change that.
hey guy ur friend is in a play singing & whereing a rainbow thing he is still gay if u where afraid of going to hell or god hateing u he wont he loves all his children & if ur a god Chrishten its ok i'm gay & proud. Where u attracted to man at one point in ur life?
Okay there are ways to control peoples minds, but these people are doing it all wrong. I mean god they are just completely fragmenting these peoples personality and not putting anything back, it's retarded.
But mind control is bad, and this is terrible, but I'm just saying it is out there and there are ways to do it right. But preachers and priests aren't good at it.
Poor dude, learned about this on Tyra, and I'm like amazed this happens... 0.0 So creepy.
I am an Anti-theist and I am so darned lucky I did not have these issues when I, at a young age, realized I was liking the same sex. My life is full, happy and I make positive decisions about my life while treating others with respect and sincerity. Religion has done this to you and you cannot put the messages in some sort of tidy menatl frame. Love god if you like but love you first. Anti-theism is open, not hating, religious strugglers.
I agree with you 100%. I don't care if someone is religious or practice religion, but most people tend to put God before themselves. They will starve themselves for God even kill themselves and blow up abortion clinics and the like in his name. People have to put themselves first and take care of themselves first.
I like this guys story and the clips. People can not change their sexual orientation and they need to stop trying because it leads to lots of heartache.
If you believe that gay people only pretend to want equality as a first step to the eradication of straight people and gay world domination, then you are as dumb as a box of rocks.
Don't project the homophobic desire to get rid of all gays unto homosexuals.
I love all my straight friends for who they are and wouldn't wish to change them.
then please explain the don't ask don't tell policy or DOMA and lets not forget the fact we can't donate blood and every proposition that bans gay marriges in the USA! now please tell me what are we trying to conspire against?
Because the dont ask dont tell policy is trying to protect people's privacy, and You dont need to donate blood...I mean, what are we, vampires? And You dont need to get married! See...YOU're CONSPIRING.
Oh yeah..thanks..almost forgot what we were arguing about. Yeah, back to the conspiracy...YOU ALL WANT TO OVERTHROW THE STRAIGHTS AND THUS CREATE AN ALL GAY UTOPIA!!!

Ex gay ministries: bringing people together. Although not in the way they intended.
Truth be known: I never had ex gay experience. However: I still relate to the isolation, I spent the majority of my life imposing my own isolation on myself because I had it reinforced there was something wrong with me.
When you finally realize that there's nothing wrong with being gay... but with the people who THINK there's something wrong with being gay, it is really liberating.
Right on dude.

I don't know about 'survivor.' I do know some people make a darned good living from the material this phenomenon of 'reparative therapy' has given them from their eperiences involved in it. We queens love to scream about how tough our lives are. Well half our planet are living life in poverty we have never known and without the most basic health care.
TheReformed1 1 year ago
In all honesty Peter, I do believe homosexuality to be a sin.Probably one of the worst. Not that God views it as being different than others, to him, sin is sin. That's evident from the ancient writings. I believe it to be the worst, because, it snares the heart tighter and more strongly than any other sin, as I believe it to run with a strong desire for emotional satisfaction. You just can't get from a bottle, what another human being can give you.
TheReformed1 1 year ago
The fact is that homosexual conduct was common and accepted in Biblical times. There was no distinction between "homosexual" and "heterosexual" and those who refused to engage in homosexual conduct were considered "anti-social" - anyone familiar with Roman and Greek culture knows this. There is nothing in the New Testament about homosexual conduct. Those who use isolated Bible verses out of context and mistranslated are exactly the type of people whom Jesus Christ condemned.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@Atlavocat Fornication is explicity forbidden in both the Old and New Testaments. Fornication is ANY sexual relations outside marriage. Marriage is defined in both the Old and New Testaments as the union of a man and a woman by which they become one flesh. Distorting the Word to suit fashionable societal standards is a particularly nefarious form of blasphemy.

@p2son, so, ur response comment to the realraincrow is still vieled. R u an ex-gay? Or r u still/back to being activly homosexual?
TheReformed1 1 year ago
@TheReformed1 Actually in many ways it doesn't matter. The purpose of my vid is to reveal how dreadful ex-gay treatment can be. I highlight the painful, and I believe harmful, experience of ex-gay treatments that try to de-gay people. Having spent 17 year earnestly following a spiritual course to de-gay myself often assisted by ministers and counselors and knowing over 1,000 who have done the same with harmful affects, ministers need to consider these treatments are terrible pastoral care.
p2son 1 year ago 3
@p2son ok, I can understand that there are many different takes on the effects of "programs" for many different ppl. You say ministers, pastoral etc. etc. and de-gay. You also say it really doesn't matter as to your homosexuality being current and active, or past. But it is in the fact, that it would appear, thru some of the vid's on here, u r promoting pro-gay "programs" ie: camp firefly, and steering others away from pro-christian programs. Am I correct in that statement?
TheReformed1 1 year ago
@p2son I feel great pain knowing that there is such a horrible practice going on in this country. I am a Catholic, so I do believe homosexual conduct is a sin, but the sense of shame and the general hatefulness perpetuated by this type of program is truly indefensible. Nobody should be made to feel that they're inferior in such a way. Nobody should have to feel that they disgust God or that He's ashamed of them. His love is one thing that can never be taken away from you.

they dont tell you that youre flawed because youre homosexual. they say the root of your homosexuality is emotional trauma suffered as a child. every action you take in life is a direct effect of experiences you had previously in your lifetime. people seek fulfillment by using drugs or playing an instrument or inflicting pain upon others. you seek fulfillment through intimacy with people who you can identify with more.
EazyTarantino 1 year ago
@EazyTarantino - Except that no psychologist or psychiatrist has ever found one single documented case of a child suffering emotional trauma and "becoming" homosexual (or heterosexual). There is absolutely no evidence that emotional trauma and sexual orientation are linked. There is a considerable amount of evidence that sexual orientation is fixed before birth and is evidenced by differences in the brain.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@Atlavocat I reach out to gay people all the time. I have reached out to you, but you chose not to believe me. I am who I am, I am who I need to be, what I want to be and for the first time in my life I am living. I have no chains to bind me, I finally do not have to be anything other than who I am. I am not limited to a life that was dictated by a sexual attraction. If you want that then go live your life, but it did not fit into my life. I just want Jesus' guidance daily, and this is it.
39Mustangman 1 year ago
@39Mustangman I do not think you know yourself, I know you do not understand Gay men. If you truly followed Jesus Christ you would be working to convince homophobic bigots to accept Gay people as their neighbors and brothers. You would teach bigots to reach out to their "enemy" just as Jesus Christ tried to teach that the Samaritans (who were hated by the Hebrews) were good people, too. I will pray for you. But you really shouldn't be wasting your time here - Gay people don't need bigots.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@Atlavocat I do not teach bigotry, I teach love. I love all people, including you. That is not the guidance I am getting from Jesus. The guidance I get is sex is to be used between a man and woman after marriage. Just because I do not see things your way, does not make me a bigot. I have been where you are, and I want nothing to do with it. So,if anyone wants to know how to be truly happy with themselves, I know how to do that. I know how to get rid of chains that bind.
39Mustangman 1 year ago
@39Mustangman - The guidance you get is "sex is to be used between a man and woman after marriage" is only a result of your bigotry and prejudices. It is not what the Bible says, it is not what Jesus preached. What you are saying is that Gay people cannot engage in homosexual sex and go to heaven. Do you not realize how evil that is? Do you not realize how many Gays are driven from Christianity because of your message? Do you not realize how many Gay youths are driven to suicide?
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@Atlavocat If someone commits suicide there is more going on in that child's head than meets the eye. Homosexuality is just the excuse. Again, I do not preach bigotry. I ask for Jesus guidance daily, and my result is me. I am happy being married to one woman, and sex with that one woman. I am not only happy, but better off because of that. If this is not how you believe, that is your prerogative, but I can tell you, once I gave it all to Jesus, my life became happier.
39Mustangman 1 year ago
@39Mustangman - You do not preach Christianity. You preach hate and lies. You drive good people away from Christianity and people like you drive many Gay young people to suicide. If you can't see that, you are totally blind. You may have a happy life, but I doubt it. People like you never remain "straight" - if you were straight you wouldn't spend all your day on a Gay YouTube video site trying to convince others what you do not really believe yourself.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@Atlavocat I think you need to re read what I stated. I never once said you could not go to heaven. I can not judge, I was where you are now. I can never ever say that to you or anyone. That is between you and Jesus.
39Mustangman 1 year ago
@39Mustangman - Next you're going to say that you never said anything bad about homosexuals. I have re-read why you wrote - and you are a bigot.

@39Mustangman - I pray that God touches your heart.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@Atlavocat He touched me years ago, when I finally realized there was more to life than living by sexual desires, addictions and attractions. He touches it today, he will touch it tomorrow, and and he has guided me through this great life I have today. He even touched it when I was living a miserable existence living in the gay life that I really did not chose, but learned to accept, because that is what the secular world believes, and preaches. I pray the same for you my brother.
39Mustangman 1 year ago
@39Mustangman - I certainly think you are touched, but not by Jesus Christ. I am comfortable in the knowledge that Jesus Christ loves me exactly as I am. I pity you because you cannot see that. I bathe in his light and glory and you wade in your own sexual insecurities.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@Atlavocat I am so glad that you can put me down. I am certainly glad you are "comfortable in the knowledge that Jesus Christ loves me exactly as I am." I doubt he would hate you any way your are, or for that matter anyone at all, and I am glad you "bathe in his light". However, I doubt by the way you curse me, and mock me, is the way he wants you to behave toward me. I have never once stated anything negative toward you. I have only love and compassion for you. God bless you.
39Mustangman 1 year ago
@39Mustangman - I do not curse you. But you come to a Gay video on YouTube and try to convince everyone that God hates homosexuals and homosexuality. Most people here know that it's not true. Jesus Christ condemned people who did exactly as you do. You will have to justify yourself to Jesus Christ. But you are convincing no one. You are only trying to convince yourself.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@39Mustangman - This is not about you. This is about dishonesty and your lies about Jesus Christ and Christianity. You need help. Seek it and stop bothering people here.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@39Mustangman - I've dealt with people like you for forty years - they all claimed to have become heterosexual and "saved" - they all wind up coming out of the closet and asking for my forgiveness. I say to them (as I say to you) that God will judge you for the pain that you cause - and I doubt he will forgive you.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@Atlavocat Alta, New Testament Romans 1:21-27 shows the Christians are against gay acts!
Bestmanme08 1 year ago
@Bestmanme08 - If you read Paul's Letter to the Romans from the beginning in context you will see (as it is plain to any objective reader of the Bible) that Paul has nothing whatsoever against homosexual acts, what he condemns are Christians who have "lapsed" into Pagan ritual worship - which did include some heterosexual and homosexual acts and which Paul considered "unseemly" for Christians, but Paul never condemned homosexuality - only pagan religious practices.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@Bestmanme08 - It is interesting that homophobic bigots quote from Paul, who never met Jesus Christ and was not a disciple, but was instead a "Pharisee's Pharisee' despite the fact that Jesus Christ condemned all Pharisee to Hell. If you bigots were true Christians, you would find that Jesus Christ condemns you as he would have condemned Paul, if they had ever met.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@Atlavocat But the fact that he turned the Pharisee of Pharisees into an apostle, shows your lack of knowledge and understanding of our world. See, it's like this y friend. You can't say out of one side of your mouth, that you want respect and acceptance, then out of the other side of your mouth, curse those who would and do actually love you more than your so-called friends. It's just that simple.
TheReformed1 1 year ago
@TheReformed1 - Jesus never met Paul, Paul was not a disciple of Jesus Christ. Paul never ceased to be a "Pharisee". Those who are familiar with the Bible know that.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@Atlavocat So exactly what bible is it that your reading? Paul takes great pains to make sure his audience sees clearly his transformation from christian killing pharisee, to frontline messiahnic jew. At least that's what Bible scholars and well read/researched christians know. As for the "out of context Bible verses you mention here...whatever makes you comfortable in your error.
TheReformed1 1 year ago
@TheReformed1 , Couldn't agree more! Atlavocat is going to remain in his error, because that's what he clearly enjoys. He makes it a routine to distort scripture to accommodate himself.
Samc023 1 year ago
@Samc023 thank you for throwing your opinion in on this. It's amazing to me, how whenever your opinion varies from theirs and you voice it in reasonable tone, you're thought of as a homophobe, or you're being judgemental! It's almost to the point of humorous.
TheReformed1 1 year ago
@TheReformed1
Samc023 1 year ago
@Samc023 - But you don't know or care about God's word. You use a few isolated Bible verses to condemn those whom you personally dislike. You are no better than bigots who use Bible verses to condemn Jews, Gypsies, African-Americans, etc. You are not a Christian, you are mentally disturbed.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@Atlavocat
Interesting. For a person who claim to hold many degrees, you sure are limited when it comes to articulating a sound argument for your erroneous claims. You also seem to be under the false impression that those who warn you regarding your error intrinsically "hate" you and that is truly a warped view to hold. Its also disturbing how you have no qualms with using other groups as tools just to defend and further your radical social agenda, and you say I'm disturbed?.. yikes!
Samc023 1 year ago
@Samc023 extremely well stated re: atlavocat.
TheReformed1 1 year ago
@Atlavocat You'folks have got to start to realize that tolerance and acceptance are 2 very different things. 1.) Christinas tolerate homosexuality, but we don't have to accept it as an alternative, acceptable lifestyle. 2.) you HAVE to accept that in a world such as the one we ALL live in, there are varying beliefs and just because we don't agree with you and we voice it, does not make us hateful. Provrbs 27:6 "Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful".
TheReformed1 1 year ago
@TheReformed1 Great, then you can learn to tolerate that I think you're a piece of shit.
I don't kiss my enemies.
moopism 1 year ago
@moopism The statement that is being made, is that often times, becuase of the deceit of our enemies and false flatterys, we're taken in by them and we repell those around us who tell us the truth for our own good, even if it hurts. But the pain we feel from the truth will never destroy us. It's like the pain you feel whewn you grab a hot pan off the stove without a mit as opposed to not have pain sensitivity nerves. We'd like not to feel the pain, but the ensuing damage wouyld be far worse.
TheReformed1 1 year ago
@Atlavocat

@Sidney38SNJ Whatever makes you sleep at night! I am in a better place, happier, and can not go back. You live your way, and I will live mine. I did not choose this behavior, but I am glad it no longer dominates my life. I am married to a woman, and I can not think of a better life. I no longer have the depression, destructive behavior, and lifelessness I had while groping men. Good luck, I wish you all the best.
39Mustangman 1 year ago
@39Mustangman - I have met many men like you, they all wind up looking for sex in restrooms and parks. And when the wife finds out, the shit really hits the fan. If you had depressive, destruction behavior while openly Gay it was because those feelings were within you and the result of homophobia. Homophobia is pure evil.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@Atlavocat You have not met one man like me! You do not know me! I have chosen to follow Jesus. My life is not lonely, unhappy or perfect. If you knew me, then you would know I do not have to live for sex. Therefore, you do not know know me, I live for Jesus, NOT sex. My life is not guided by groping people for sex in the bathrooms and parks. And, how would you know about these guys anyway? Homophobia may be evil, but I wish you all the best.
39Mustangman 1 year ago
@39Mustangman - I know hundreds of people just like you, they all claim to live a perfect life - they all lie. They use Jesus as an excuse to condemn others, despite the fact that Jesus condemned to hell those who used the Bibel to condemn others. Not all people, Gay or straight, live for sex. But you would insist that all Gay people must not have sex - which is totally unChristian and drives good people away from Christianity.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@Atlavocat These 100s of men you see out doing what you claim they do, are either selfish or addicted to sex. The next time you see one, you need to ask them why they are out doing what they do with a wife and child at home. As for me, wanting sex with men or woman, is a desire. How I choose to handle that, or for that matter anyone chooses, is their choice. I will not, and can not allow some pesky same sex attraction blow my dreams and my goals away. I am committed to my wife ONLY.
39Mustangman 1 year ago
@39Mustangman - A lot of Gay and Bisexual men try to commit to a woman - and some succeed for a while, but few can maintain that facade for very long. There are a lot of women who enjoy being married to a Gay man, it's the women who don't know that I worry about. If society were not so homophobic, a lot of married men would come out.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@39Mustangman - If you are so commited to your wife, does she know that you spend hours watching Gay YouTube videos and discussing homosexuality with other men? Who do you think you are kidding? @Atlavocat I have been through it all. Take care brother. I am not going to argue this. Yes, my wife knows everything. I can not live in a house with a great person and not be totally open with them. You have a good life, I am not arguing with you. Thanks for the commentary though.
39Mustangman 1 year ago
@39Mustangman - I hope that you find a good man one day who will accept you the way you are, so you don't have to live in fear and darkness. Jesus loves everyone, Gay and straight.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@Atlavocat Have you read anything I wrote? Why would you wish that on me? That would destroy everything I have, or ever wanted. All my goals dreams would be torn apart! I live in the LIGHT. I do not have fear. I do not have to fear, because people who are my real friends know about me, and my past! Meeting anyone other than the committed relationship I chose would destroy me, and my family, and men who destroy their marriage for a sexual desire are selfish.
39Mustangman 1 year ago
@39Mustangman - People who marry just to prove their sexual orientation are selfish. When your marriage ends - as almost all do - in a couple of years, you will regret all the foolish things you did for all the wrong reasons.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@Atlavocat The only thing I regret is not ASKING JESUS to guide my daily life before I was 20. Then I could averted all the counselors all the heartache, and the miserable experience of being "GAY". The lesson of true love is, loving the person you married, knowing that you are secure to live your life with someone truly committed to you, and knowing when you wake she is there, and even when things go terribly wrong, she is still there I am not trying to prove my orientation.
39Mustangman 1 year ago
@39Mustangman - If it works for you, fine. But your wife must be a saint - or you must be very rich - as it does not work for very many straight people and much fewer who are not straight. Why didn't you pray for Jesus to give you wings? You would have had just as much luck with that. I know many more Gay people who are happily married than I know straight couples. As I said, if it works for you, fine. But I bet it will not work for very long.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@Atlavocat I DID NOT pray for the gay to go away. I prayed to do what Jesus wanted me to do. That is not how it worked. I am not in a sexless marriage. You are not reading what I have written. I do not have justify my life, and I have been married 20 years to the same woman. The gay life I lived was empty, lonely, dark, and extremely vain. No one wanted me for anything other than casual sex, hence the emptiness, and I was lonely before I even opened up to the Gay life.
39Mustangman 1 year ago
@Atlavocat My wife is not Asian, if that would make a difference. Why all the generalizations? Think about what you want out of life, before and after you came out? Prioritize those, and figure out what is good for you. You can continue to bash me for what I did, but remember I am here to hurt you in any way, just make you see you can anything you want. ANYTHING.
39Mustangman 1 year ago
@Atlavocat NOT HERE TO HURT YOU IN ANY WAY, sorry about my writing.
39Mustangman 1 year ago
@39Mustangman - You do not hurt me in any way. I'm 58 years old and I've seen and heard it all (or almost). I just want Gay people to know that they having nothing to fear from Jesus Christ, that HE accepts you as you are. That Jesus loves all of us, Gay, straight, Bisexual or very confused. Jesus doesn't want care about anyone's sexual orientation - just how they treat their fellow man, their neighbor. And Gay people are your neighbors.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@Atlavocat Fortunately, it is NOT who I am, it is a challenge from God. I took what I have and made the best life I could possibly make. I have NOT one regret. For whatever reason God gave me a challenge of this Same sex attraction, and I am doing the best I can. I had to accept the fact that I had the same sex attraction, but I do not have to live in the "gay" world, and I do not have homophobia. It was a life that was vain, and emotionally draining for me. Ur right,God loves everyone
39Mustangman 1 year ago
@39Mustangman - Fine, you're Bisexual and happy with a female, fine for you. But I am a Christian and God accepts me as the Gay man I am (and have always been). You go preach on your street corner and leave Gay kids alone.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@Atlavocat has god told you that personally? were you touched by the hand of god.. metaphorically speaking?
EazyTarantino 1 year ago
@EazyTarantino - I hope one day that God will teach you - maybe through your Gay children or a Gay relative - that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality. There are many Gay Christians who follow his word and teachings.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@Atlavocat my uncle is gay and ive had gay friends. i dont think its a terrible thing for a person to be. i also dont follow religion so god has nothing to do with it for me. id like to know what the specific differences are in a brain of a homosexual and heterosexual person. are there people who are heterosexual with the same differences?
EazyTarantino 1 year ago
@EazyTarantino - Of course, it's not terrible to be Gay, many of the most intelligent and creative people who ever lived were homosexual. If you want to check out the physiological differences in the brains of Gay and straight people just out Dr. Simon Levay, for a start. You can google him.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@39Mustangman - God should challenge you to accept yourself as you are - as he made you - and reach out to other Gay people with love and acceptance.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@39Mustangman - Is your wife Asian? I know a LOT of Asian women (particularly Japanese) who marry Gay men. Like most women, they aren't too fond of the sex in the first place, but they are used to being subservient to men. You do know that Jesus said that, in heaven, there was no "male" or "female", so why would it matter to him if you were married to a man or a woman? Love is love.
Atlavocat 1 year ago
@Atlavocat Look, I know you did not chose to have a same sex attraction, nor did I, but if you truly want something out of life other than empty hollow vanity sex, and true friends. I found a way to move forward, and live life to the fullest outside of that, and have a wonderful life with a great wife and two of the most awesome boys to walk the face of the earth. I did not want to use Jesus to get that life, but that is the only way I know how to get SSA out of my life.
39Mustangman 1 year ago
@Atlavocat I believe I pretty much stated I was not perfect, first time I responded to your response to me. As for sex, the body is a temple, I want to keep my temple clean. Therefore, I do not want to have sex with multi-people. That is just the way I am. I can not judge you or anyone for their behaviors, because I AM NOT PERFECT. I can only live day to day, and on those days, I ask Jesus to help me get through one more day, if only for today. Just me, but works well. I wish you well too!
39Mustangman 1 year ago
It bothers me in the same way that it would bother a black person, seeing another black person preaching about how becoming white is possible for the grace of Jesus!
We are who we are and there's nothing wrong with us. Stop refering to being gay as if it was something negative beacuse it is not. We should be working towards the end of the discrimination. Not preaching self-hate.

Oh. This makes me sick to my stomack! how can a grown up believe in stoties like that and think that they have to change who they are??????
MRBBJC 1 year ago
@MRBBJC Sorry bud, but I had to change. I was too promiscuous and it was seriously out of control. Once I did, things worked out much better.
39Mustangman 1 year ago
I find it ironic that EVERY SINGLE PERSON I have EVER seen to claim that they are "ex-gay" manages to mention God somewhere. Apparently, an obsession for religion is the only thing more powerful than an obsession for penis. Go figure. Apparently, atheists are just too apathetic to care about their own sexuality.
Saboruto 1 year ago 5
There is NO SUCH THING as an 'ex'-homosexual. Those who say they are 'ex-gay' are either deluded and burying their true feelings, or, as I suspect and EVIDENCE SHOWS, were BI-sexual, or only experimenting, clearly not gay. Its amazing how many people who merely experimented or were *BI*-SEXUAL, think they are 'cured', when TRUTH be known, they were never even gay in the first place!!
Salemaniac1 1 year ago 3
It has been scientifically proven:
There is no sitting on the fence you are either born heterosexual of homosexual. If you "were" gay but are now married I pity both you and your partner who will suffer through unfulfilled half-lives of denial on your part and "I can never make him fully happy" on hers.
And if you think you ARE happy then all I can say is that you really don't know a) what happiness is and b) what you're missing out on.
nvek69 1 year ago 2
@nvek69 Thanks for your input, but I am happy, and I am married to a woman. I did accept the fact I had same sex attraction. I have been put down relentlessly my whole life. Now, I am being put again, because I have truly gotten over being gay. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done. I am not Anti-gay, but I do not want to look back at grade school, and my 20s. There are no boundaries in life, only the ones we place on ourselves. I am truly and ex-gay.
39Mustangman 1 year ago
dude you were bi then. if you were attracted to men and then women you were most likely bisexual then
Azrael666Azazel 1 year ago 2
Never was bi. Sorry, you can not label me and place me in some sort of box. I was never ever bi. However, I was pretty much addicted to homo sex. So, I had to get over the homo behavior, and once that was done, I had no desire to be with men. I did have to use Jesus.
39Mustangman 1 year ago
How did u used someone who died thousands of years ago? How can you believe such a childish thing?
And you were not even bi but "was pretty much assicted to homo sex"?
Yeah, if it makes sense to you, he keep at it. Your head is not working anymore tho.
MRBBJC 1 year ago
Sorry you feel that way. I had to change, there was no other way for me. Why are you so harsh about me? I am not asking you or anyone to change! I just know that it is possible. Jesus made it possible. You just have to have a little faith, and that is true with anything in life. Have some faith in anything, and you can do anything. I wish you all the best. Happiness can be had by all, with just a little faith. Take care! I wish you well.
39Mustangman 1 year ago
@nvek69 The scientifically proven is what Dr. Spitzer stated? Does not help your case that gays are born that way. It does not explain me. Honestly, why does it make a difference if they change or not? I had same sex attraction, but its gone. I do not understand why it is a big deal! If someone has the ability to change out of a same sex attraction why wouldn't you say good job. Especially, if that is what they wanted? I know it is not easy! I am not asking you to change!

How do you know? Have you ever tried? I am living proof. I am only attracted to my wife. Not men, or women. It is extremely difficult to change it, but in the end it was worth it.

you're demi-heterosexual. look it up
Rickytastic 2 years ago
Definately not asexual, but if I am some form, so be it. I am happy being married to the woman I chose, and happy being where I am today. It took 5 years to get to get to the point I am today. Thank God I am here, and I regret NOT one day of it. As for being demihetero, that too was not what I was prior to transformation, but I am attracted only to my wife. Either way, I thank for the choice I made.
39Mustangman 2 years ago
I'm actually quite happy for you, all sarcasm aside. :)
[but if you're only attracted to one person in the world, you're demi-sexual, which is all good :)]
Rickytastic 2 years ago
I guess if there is a need to label me. Anyway, I was totally attracted to the male at one time. I am just not now. It was not a choice to be attracted to the male, the choice was to go out of my way to change that.
39Mustangman 2 years ago
oh and also, you're a select brand of asexual.
Rickytastic 2 years ago
I did not use the ex gay place, but I did use their tools, books programs etc. I was totally attracted to the male, but not any longer.

My whole story is on youtube at:

MichaelinNewEngand 2 years ago
I agree with you 100%. I don't care if someone is religious or practice religion, but most people tend to put God before themselves. They will starve themselves for God even kill themselves and blow up abortion clinics and the like in his name. People have to put themselves first and take care of themselves first.

If you believe that gay people only pretend to want equality as a first step to the eradication of straight people and gay world domination, then you are as dumb as a box of rocks.
Don't project the homophobic desire to get rid of all gays unto homosexuals.
