@l0gically Indeed. It's just after midnight and the wind has picked up to maybe 40 mph gusts. Still no big deal. Flooding will be the problem for most people, it's going to be a foot of rain or so.
I'm in Brooklyn, NY and waiting with bated breath for Irene. It would be pretty funny if it turns out to be a dud, as you call it, after the unprecedented evacuations and such. Well, I guess not for the evacuees... but the ones who stayed would be loling.

@whiskerchild Dyna is fine. They cut my power out Sunday and I just got it back about an hour ago (Wed. night) probably as punishment.
