I remember those horrible zoom zoom ads back in the day, but now, I think Mazda, as well as Mercedes, make the best car ads. Most American and Japanese car ads are uninteresting. All Audi and Infiniti try to do is just make other car companies look bad, and BMW ads such these days, because they just talk about a few luxuries, rather than the driving.

Didn't think I'd get to say this but I drive a Mazda! The old B2200. It's not fast or responsive but it's more fun than my family's 2010 Versa. All mechanical controls, no power steering, manual trans. You can feel the road - and it feels good.

This commercial is so beautiful to me in the sense that it demonstrates the heart of laissez-faire capitalism, individuality, and purity in design that American (and Japanese) industrialism used to be about. Now all the other car companies show how "socially important" or "ecologically friendly" their products are. I think Ayn Rand would drive a Mazda lol.

Previous speed3 owner and current rx8. I love my Mazda's. Epic commercial. Quick fact, Mazda is the only japanese car makers that does it mass production in japan still. Though, has a share with Ford. The Mazda tribute, pickup, and I "think" the 2's are the only Mazda cars made in the US. Don't try to be a smart a+ss and say I drive a ford.

I drive a Mustang, and I think the guys building it had the same idea I had when I bought it, which is why I spent 5 years of my life paying for it. I like Mazda's, the speed 3 and 6 are awesome cars for what they are, but this commercial is fucking pretentious. No one car maker is the best. Period. They all have their enthusiast machines and their own following, and that is cool no matter what you drive, Mazda or not.

A 2007 Mazda 3. I too would love to see them bring back the rotary engine. Oh, I know, no torque and takes a while to get up to speed. But once it's reached that speed, it's going to keep going and keep going for a long time since those rotaries get such good MPG. I'd also love to see them bring back the older R classes (R100, RX-4, RX-2, etc.) But actually bring them back, as in make them exactly like they were back in the day. Not like what chevy and dodge are doing with their "remakes".

As a previous 05 Miata owner and a current RX-8 owner, I love this comercial. Out of all the cars I have owned, the 2 Mazdas have been the most fun to drive and the most reliable. Never had any engine troubles.

I drive Mazdas! 92 MX-5, 04 6S. Both modded to hell, and both being the most fun I've had with the wheels at their respective ends. Kind of debating the FD Miata when it comes out, maybe an RX7/9 (whatever it will be), or an old RX7 with an LS1 swap. :)

As a rotary engine enthusiast as well as a performance engine builder; I find myself hoping that this is Mazda's way of building interest in the successor to the RX7 (FD3S). I find myself hoping that you will offer a range of packages similar to the US FC3S with both a turbocharged and naturally aspirated version in the 16X based RX-9. And if possible offer a model that will be able to compete with the Nissan GTR on an even footing but isn't 80K . Here's to the second Japanese Horsepower war.

While all other companies just continue to improve normal cylinder engines, mazda went to improve a new kind of engine. It ran too smooth lol. To make things short, mazda's engine was superior to all others so they had to ban it to give the others a chance. Although i did find it a little bit insulting to have the 787b take a few laps in the previous le mans.

@Hawk7886 Doubt it. Why? Because I doubt it comes in Grand Turismo Red and I doubt you can win it at a relatively low level in the game to help you in later races. As for physics and realism, well. Watch a Le Mans Cup race and count the drivers who started their career through Forza vs GT. Also count how many Playstation sponsored cars you see. And check the NY Auto show for the new FT-86 II that Toyota had the makers of Gran Turismo make a video for or the Nissan GT-R that they helped design.

@slick1ru2 Like every other car in FM3, it comes in whatever color you want. Well, any color you can dream of, since the painting tool can be adjusted to use an infinite array of shades and tints. You can also upgrade and adjust parts and vehicle settings, which I doubt you can do in the restrictive GT5. The rest of your comment appears to be nothing but rambling about some crap unrelated to the amazing Furai, so I won't even bother addressing it.

@Hawk7886 Of course you can upgrade parts and adjust settings in GT5, where do you think Forza ripped that off from? I have over 1000 paint chips in my collection including morphing paints that change color depending on how the light hits them. So yeah, you can pant cars fantasy colors in Forza. In GT5, you are limited to the real factory colors of dozens of manufacturers that spans decades which can also be traded.
