I am so proud of the kind of messages this amazing band send to young people. I wonder how they know all they do if they look like teenagers lol. I like the part "But you are too late and you weren't invited anyway" but like to change it by "You don't want it anyway", is most alike me. Anyway, is an amazing song, such a good message. when keane moves with times they run the chance of loosing their style,in my opinion this is not the keane i like,its a funky noise which doesnt touch me at all,i prefer their deeper songs with the sound of the piano,now they make nothing more than noises,even though some songs are great,the album in general is the worst of the three,even worst than the b-sides,im not saying they shouldnt try new sounds,i just say that they have tried the wrong one.

this is a more fun and exciting keane in my opinion, and although you think they have lost their feeling i think the lyrics in the news ngs can prove otherwise. and in anycase i think keane still have years ahead in which albums with different sounds they can make so maybe youll get your way then. ill give you a thumbs up for reasoned argument though!

Well, yes! I've just listened to ashes to ashes and you're quite right.I couldn't find Kate Bush's video however, and I ended up with all kinds of James but not the one you referred to I think. Anyway Tim never made a secret of the fact that he finds inspiration thanks to other musicians.He said '...these are five albums that I've been listening to for inspiration (ie stuff to steal)'. I guess he's not the only one. A friend of mine does the same (not a pro).Stir the ashes! Ha, ha, ha! Cheerio!

Its definitely growing on me now. Took me a little while, but the new sound is starting to sound like the same old Keane, with some differences. The change seemed drastic at first, but I'm all for it now. I honestly can't wait to hear what the finished songs with perfect quality sound like.

ehhh iono. "The Lovers Are Losing", sounded better, but still not what I'd expect from Keane, which is/was pretty much the 2nd best band behind Coldplay in my book. I feel like if something aint broke, why fix it. Sure itz ok to experiment with a bit of new stuff, like Coldplay did. This change seems a bit more drastic though as far as Keane as concerned. It seems as if I'm having to try and like these songs. They just aren't doin it for me, like pretty much every song on UTIS did.
