I have both consoles and i completely disagree, but i can get why most casual players like the 360 over the ps3, only thing casual players play most of the time is HALO. And for your constructive criticism, PS3 continues to be the least selling console, mostly because it's more expensive than the 360, and yet, offers less than the 360. Hardcore gamers actually much prefer a 360 because of xbox live and the constant stream of good, online games.

PS3 has a pretty shit online service, it works, but it doesn't do much else. And the main let down is that the PS3 has next to no good exclusives. All the good exclusives go to 360, then a few months later, the PS3.

The only reason a "hardcore gamer" would want a PS3 is because it's slightly more powerful. But you know what, in most games, you either can't even tell the difference, or developers spend more time on the 360 version, so it actually looks better on the less powerful console. PS3 has nothing going for it, MGS4 and Littlebigplanet are it's last chances, but odds are, most hardcore gamers will stick with the 360, since it's better suited to their tastes.
