I want an sec team to win too!!!!! First it was georiga that want to win then bama then Florida but none of them won guess we gotted wait for 2010 ps. I'm a lsu fan !!!!!!!
i cried, and then that night i hyperventilated. but thats just life, and thats how sports work. you never know till the last pitch is thrown, and the last out is made. next year is bama's year to win it all. :) seeing all the bama girls cry, and having been to every home game and wcws game, and having to see it all end like that was just horrible. it makes me feel so bad for them. but whats done is done, florida won and i have to live with that, no matter how hard it hurts. Roll Tide Roll! :)
not a hater, simply a fact. laughmaniac said that she thought it was a pop up so i said that's an out if you give her another 10 feet. 18u gold plays at 220 foot fences, so 190 at the college level is kinda ridiculous.
hall of fame stadium is 190 at the corners in left and right field. it's been a big topic of debate because many people think its such a joke that it's so close.
i give credit to both teams to alabama for doing a fine job keeping florida off the scoreboard and florida for keeping their head up and not giving up, i still love florida champions in my mind
i believe that your argument is invalid --- i do play 18U Gold, and yeah there aren't many pitchers like Dunne. BUT ALSO, there aren't many hitters at the caliber of a senior like Ali Gardiner or other greats such as Charlotte Morgan. the pitching is better in college, but so is the hitting. its the best of the best.. saying that most people couldnt hit it 190 feet is irrelevant because only the best of the best get to the WCWS, and the fences should be farther.
being a bama fan, i hate this video =P i was there and it really hurt to see the alabama girls faces after the game, esp kelsi. and we are gonna miss the seniors!!! =(
PS - thought i would add since someone thought it was a pop up, and ali thought so too... the fences in left and right field were only 190, which is super short. if those fences are 200 feet then that is an out instead of a home run.
never mind

actually line drive the fences are 220 ft all around, the pop up was just deep and high enough to go over,

nope its 190 in the corners. it's been a subject of tons of debate among people in the game because 190 is laughable at the college level.

if it is such a big debate then why is it not discussed during the wcws? i mean your commets are useless unless you can provide facts
don't be a hater

yeah but i use to play for 18U gold and there were no pitchers like Dunne
its not the fact of how far the home run went
its the fact that she hit it off one of the most dominant pitchers in the game of collegiate softball
i want to see you play in a college worlds series and face the pitchers there
lets see if the fence is close enough to get it out of there
not trying to be mean but your argument seem invalid
