one of the secrets to mini skids is to divert the hydraulic energy from the drive motors/pump to the implement pump when it needs it with as little as 20 engine hp. From the looks of this tool it has only one pump for drive and implement . And thats why us pro's/suckers have to pay upwards of 30K (with implements) for one of them.

@HelmetBlissta yep, just saying any smaller then it could fit in the back of a crown vic, i saw now that it was home made have you thought of installing a bigger pump and a small inline 4 from a car mabye add an extra 500lb of dead weight as well that thing could come alive especially being able to perform more than one movement easily at a time

If you built that yourself I have to give you a thumbs up. Nice job. And as for the yahoos that are ripping on it and think that a shovel is faster, Puh. It just takes a little practice to operate smoothly. You could have probably got by with a little smaller pump flow, or install a priority flow control to dial in your cylinder speeds and keep the motor from going to it's knees when hitting the relief setting.

Candig up in BC make one of these that works well, It can dig up to 8 feet and moves itself with the bucket . the Candig can also fit through a 30 inch gate . google Candig for a vid, I don't know why there are no vids on u tube but I'm getting one for my buisness and I'll post on the tube when I get it .

no, it doesn't :) i'm sure that you can dig the sand with showel a bit faster than that and sure for that you burn less oxygen and exhaust less shit into the atmosphere. And, moreover, with showel you can do something for your body. With this crap on video only you do for your ass is hemoroids :D
