I am one of the makeup artist for the Terror behind the walls. I appreciate you posting this video! Share the Eastern State love with everyone!!! #1 in the COUNTRY!!!
Yes, he is. He's a lot of fun. You have to meet him sometime, Meg. When he went through Bates Motel he was 6 y.o. James says to me, "Act scared! You know they are acting and videotaping us!" He loves the, "Nightmare on Elm St." movies too. He'll watch them by himself. Audrey (Rich's mom), James and I went to a house that supposedly was haunted and no one wanted to buy it. James opens the door first. Audrey isn't scared of ghosts and if she could have bought the house she would have.
It was scary. It took an hour to go through. I really want to go through during the day. I liked the Bates Motel too which is also rated as one of the scariest Halloween attractions. It depends what you want. Bates Motel had a haunted hayride, cornmaze and then of course the Bates Motel.
I went there two years ago and the lines were so long and I waited along time too. Here it wasn't bad, except it is better to order the tickets online because then there is a wait for the next tour (a 3 hour wait.) Luckily, it was just my son who is 8 y.o. and I so we were allowed to go on the early tour.
It was a real prison. It does have an eerie feeling because of the torture that ocurred there. I do want to go during the day. They are open all year. I agree that prisons that are operating right now would be scarier. I definitely wouldn't want to be an inmate. I think it is funny that everyone here couldn't wait to get into prison! It was so crowded and they were sold out until 10:30 p.m. when we arrived at 7:15 p.m. Luckily, some witch that worked there, lol, left us in.
yeah prisons back in the day were far worse. hey the other day i went thru the attic and found books my grandfather had from the early 70s about Alcatraz. Nearly every (over 90%) of the prisoners came from poverty, and quite a few were in Alcatraz for homosexuality.
Jails sure are creepy! I work in a maximum security prison that was built in 1833 (one of the oldest that is still in use in the world, back when puishment was a lot more harsh including torture and originally had dungeon cells also and there has been a lot of reported paranormal activity and phenominons. It makes sense, being that there has been so many evil people live and die there. It's very freaky sometimes on midnight shifts. Nice vid - I would love to check that out someday.
I am sure it is freaky on midnight shifts. Thanks for watching and I am glad you enjoyed it. I do want to go during the day. This was built 1812 and stayed open until 1971. At first there was only one inmate per cell and they would stay in their cell the entire time. What's strange about this place is that it had heat and running water before the White House.
lol! Yes, it was noisy and fun! If you are claustrophobic forget it. You have to go in a single line. At one point we had flashlights and one of the actresses said to me, "Stop!" I said, "No!" She said, "I'm serious I need the flashlight back!" I felt like an idiot. It took about an hour to go through. Then for the experiment part, we all had to put 3d glasses on. That was a trip. Well, I did get to film Al Capone's cell block. Did you know they had heat and H20 before the White House?
I don't think it even needs to be themed as a haunted attraction. Walking through it in complete silence at night would be chilling enough. lol

It was a blast! It would be fun to go with a whole bunch of Youtubers! You can rent a hotel too which is included with the tour.
