it often carries some other things like wounds under the skin (or bad skin at all) with it, which you also get if you grow fast

many really fat people we see are elder (with reasons). thats why many use to associate obese young people with .. fat old people

most of these ladies are not fat - too skinny is usually an aim for teenagers with other problems

Actually, Renaissance painting was exactly that - artificial. They idealised the female form to suit very specific criteria, as desired by society. It just happens that popular culture now no longer desires or respects the voluptuous form. Even the word voluptuous comes from the Latin 'voluptuosus' meaning 'full of pleasure'. It has a much nicer onomatopoeic effect than 'fat', to start with. But yeah, there's nothing wrong with the pictures of the nymphs. They are beautiful.
