Just got this amp and absolutely love it. Sounds great, provides plenty of good sounds for a guy like me who can't afford a ton of pedals and processors, and it is portable. As a new guitarist trying to stretch a dollar, this made much more sense for me than something like a Fender Frontman with a collection of pedals, etc. - even though that Frontman is pretty sweet too. Just got this home and can't stop tinkering with it. Can be very simple, or can allow you to customize your own sound. A+

Excellent demo! Most people just keep talking and talking about the specs in their reviews (which you can check everywhere anyway) whereas here you can actually hear what the amp sounds like with different settings. Very useful!

This amp is all you need for a starter amp - up to a pro practice amp. Had Vypers, Line six, cubes ,Marshal, C,rate Fender all in( 15 watt or so ) practice amps. This is my favorite. Crank the power down and sounds great ( keeps the wife happy) everything you need for killer sounds.$180 plus tax nice price.

Someone who is going to buy an amp like that isn't going to be able to play like that. It's a budget amp. Try playing some easier things to play on it so we van actually ear what's going on rather than have some guy that looks like a girl thrash out some crap.

@lizardgizard222 I went halfs with my daughter on this amp and I must say it's a fantastic little amp. I have a Roland Cube 80 and enjoyed playing this Vox 10x more. To me the Roland is only good clean. That's all. I might trade or sell the cube 80 and buy a Vox. Even effects like chorus which Roland is know for this amp sounds better. Roland was good when it had the Jazz Chorus in the smaller amps like JC 55 etc.. I'd highly recommend this for any beginner It's an excellent choice.

@123marijn321 Spider IV series only gets good from 75 Guitar Combo anything below tends to suck not via shear power and noise but from the lack of features. Vox VT on the other hand it's the same set up but you want more power you pay more and the features are the same throughout. VOX learned with some Amp builders haven't. consistency, and Consistency isn't what Line 6 yet is needed in there line-up next line up of amps

@veeragandersucks well fender isnt really know for heavy metal, their more of a just bluesy or rock n roll amp, and dont rely on how good an amp is just by one setting, but if you want a good metal one get this or a peavy vypyr

@lizardgizard222 This is the best practice amp/modeling amp in it's price range.You can get any sound/tone you want.It has an abundance of great sounding digital effects.Which is then signalled through the power stage which uses a 12AX7 tube.The power stage output is 100% analogue.I am so glad i brought back my Roland cube for this.

WTF if this is a review or is just a wankfest of overdriven crap I'm sure the majority of people would like to hear a variety of tones not just shred.I tried one in my local store the other day and while it was OK I just couldn't like it as much as the older AD and VT series amps.The amp is more than capable of clean tones as well, maybe when this guy calms down his shred fest he might just demo a clean tone.Anyway don't solely judge the amp on this demo go try for yourself if you can.
