You can shoot for as long as your card is not full and your battery still has juice. I had the vertical grip on the camera, so I had 2 battery packs. I also turned off the "review," so the LCD screen never turned on. The camera was also set to manual focus, so there was no current drain their either.
Nice Video, I've been thinking about purchasing the TC-80N3 timer remote for my Canon 40D. I thought the exposure count was limited to 99 frames? Can you do all 2335 images in one sitting?
