Yeah Burqo* - Agree P.H. is a stand-up, timeless talent. He has an appreciative fan-base here on YouTube. HC5's Ret of the Rainman also one of my faves (evolves nicely). My pers collection also incl his productions: The Jazzmasters I and II, and his "Cover to Cover" double-CD music compilation. Frequently played. Also wowed by another, up-and-coming, alt-synth producer/talent: Owl City - Ocean Eyes (2009) - beautiful, evolving album w/some great sounds and beats, IMO.

It's not because of hip hop, which is a conscious music and has substance, it's because of rap(no substance, materialistic boasting),marketing and generic styles of kiddy music.
