what did you mount the cam to for the reverse shots? The chest strap backwards?

with the helmet mount it is hard to point the cam at the right angle. My friend had his pointed too far down for the whole weekend. I guess it is trial and error. I am going to get one for next Glamis season

if your camera is recording at 16:9 aspect ratio then you should render the video at 1280x720 to fit the standard for HD videos

@2005buickallure This was the 1st video I made with the GoPro HD and that was the default setting but it turned out good. R4 mode gives the most vertical height so it works well for the 0:37 shot, it would also be good for say a surfboard. R5 mode has the smallest field of view so it's good for straight ahead shots, makes things seem not so far away. R3 mode is best for close up stuff and if you plan to slow down the footage. R2 same if you don't plan on any slow-motion.

thanks for the settings post.. i also played forever trying to figure out the settings to get the best quality.. one thing i found was.. windows live movie maker.. does HD and uploads them right at out of the program.. works great.. simple program..
