My brother is at angola. He won the title Best All Arond Cowboy for 2011. The youngest inmate to ever do so. It was also his first time ever riding a bull and even being in a rodeo!

This was a brilliant documentary. I saw it last night for the first time and it made me sad to think how differently these men's lives might have been had they had a solid family in their youth, They would not have been murderers and thieves. There would not be so many victims if parents were held accountable for being BAD parents. Really sad for everyone.

Feels weird how one should tackle this. Some of them did commit murder, some rape - Scarring or taking another human beings life. I believe that, whatever you've done in life, you shouldn't _always_ have that stamp on you. If this is a way to entertain people, and at the same time allow the inmates to enjoy their "life" - So be it. Regardless the weight of the fuckup you once committed, Gov or not - no one got the right to take your life too. Hence I hate death penalties.

i been going to this rodeo sence i was three..the inmates.. are like my bestfriends..sum of them. this video makes it look like they are putting these men on bulls and horses to tourture them. that is wrong. they love it. it gets them out of the prison..they can run. they love it, do not think they are trying to hurt these inmates!

@TheSummer2013 so true i just went to visit with my school and i stopped at the musuem the bulls actually have covers on their horns i mean thats what i saw in the magazine for the rodeo
