IMO better then. It was all so new then in the 80's. Drugs fueled everything in my large group of people; as it did with most of the crowds in one form or another. The 90's - 00's we're similar but more paranoid with the whole drug thing.

really been getting into this kind of music recently, i know theres a lot of 'debate' about which categories these bands/projects/artists fit into, industrial something or other right? Anyway, been listening to a bit of Velvet Acid Christ and Leather Strip, awesome stuff, can anyone reccomend other similar industrial/electro-industrial for a newbie?
i like xentrifuge a lot but its a little more electro and the words are very washed out and theres Enomine though i dont like all of there songs the people above named most of the other good bands and artists But Yade makes some amazing songs to (not very well known yet) and some songs by chombichrist r quite good too (if theres any bad english here its cause im german)

I was in the US Army and stationed in Germany during 2003 - 2005.
We once took a day to practice firing German military weapons with the German Army, and they seemed like pretty cool people.
The whole "nazi" thing is a thing of the distant past.

This song is amazing. Soy and lentils are much healthier than people.. or are they??? But hey.. soylent green is what it is according to a fantastic movie based off a mediocre book. Wumpscut continues to dominate. Bone Peeler is my fave album. I can't get enough of Our Fatal Longing, personally. But regardless, love this.. thanks for posting this song. :-)

Yes, and it's interesting that people who say they're entirely happy with themselves and their lives still find themselves paying for haircuts, buying designer clothes and picking their spots.
People's personalities can be simplified to combinations of logic and empathy. pretty much all personalities are combinations and sub groups of them. self awareness, self centeredness, generosity.
So the perfect being would have the perfect balance, and be infinitely emphatic and logical.

I care but there's little an individual can do. Not buying their products means the price drops which means the workers have to work harder for less pay. I know where the beef is and where it's from, most people do. Suburbians often pretend not to but there is little i myself can do. I don't really care about my bloodline so the end is irrelevent. Explain how not buying their products improves their quality of life? how does it get them out of that work and not merely make them work for less?

Would you suggest that "poor nations" would be better off then if left to themselves? Would the magically become thriving civilizations? In that most "poor nations" were always poor, and sometimes worse of before economic influence of outside nations, I don't see how they are worse off. In many cases external trade and labor gives some though not all of those depressed poor a chance to improve their lot. Is that not progress? The default state of humanity is not civility and plenty.
