Veteran was surprisingly easy in MW2 compared to CoD4. It's not much harder than Regular.

Average time for inexperienced players maybe lol. When i get my cap card fix i'll make a run through. Will be under 3 hours no editing. Lol. Trust me it's very easy. Game is short and easy compared to cod 4 which was long and harder for sure.
