This was seriously impressive. Great work even though this is your first version. Please share with us your amazingness this CPU so we can all play with it and learn more about how CPUs really work.
@CianThEfuR thanks, im glad you liked it :). i have made another CPU since this one, and its up for download you should be able to find it on my channel :D.
@Leuel48fan well im in the process of making a new one which is much more diverse, this one was a quick simple one i made to test if logisim was up to running such circuits. but if your willing to wait i can give you the new one?
@JamesRogers999 when your done with the new one please send it to me. what functions will the new CPU have? i hope u inclde an interactive dot-matrix display :) happy biulding
@Leuel48fan well i will explain most of the commands when i have finished. but due to it having 64 outputs, it can be programmed to work with an LED matrix.
Looks pretty nice. As I've seen it's pipelined? Also, i would like to see a working example - such as simple pong game with LED matrix or so. Good work.
@artemonstrick I would love to programme it to do that but as this is only a small project just to get me started with Logisim, it only has 8 outputs, which is not enough to operate a decent sized LED matrix.
But my next CPU will have 8 output ports with each port having 8-bits. when i complete this one, I would gladly upload a video demonstrating a pong game, as well as some other examples.
very cool, how long did it take? and do you also have a working example for us to see, like with a LED matrix. can't wait to see your new one

@NoEntiendesLaOnda1 thanks for your post, if you go on my channel there is a demonstration video as well as my CPU 2.0 video
